Why have I been called four or five times now to be informed that my son’s doctor’s appointment needs rescheduled?? Seems like the pediatricians here just can’t make up their minds about what their schedules are or if they even want to be in the office. I really wanted to stick it out with this practice because I liked my son’s doctor but I don’t like her enough to keep putting up with this constant issue with scheduling. Will be switching practices after his next appointment.
I’ve been impressed with Marshall Health — Teays Valley when it comes to orthopedic injuries. Their regular walk-in clinic hours are a huge plus for anyone dealing with a sprain, fracture or joint concern. The staff are knowledgeable, and having labs, imaging (like X-rays), and specialists on-site makes the experience smoother — less waiting, fewer referrals. Overall, if you’re in the Putnam/Teays Valley area and hurt something orthopedic-related, this facility is a solid place to go: timely, convenient, and capable.
Endocrinologist office is a WAIT!!!! Each time you'll be there waiting at least an hour. Nurses are VERY nice, docs to busy.
First time seeing Dr. Lisa G. Burke, and she is the sweetest! She’s truly the best gynecologist I could have chosen since I’m new to the area. She answered all my questions, gave me some helpful tips, and made me feel completely at ease. I definitely recommend her!
This is a really nice facility and the office staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors and nurses are really good too. This facility makes it easy for patients in the Teays Valley area to see a doctor without having to drive to Huntington. Please beware that Cabell Huntington Hospital may try to bill you a “facility fee” for using this facility. You don’t owe this so don’t pay it! UPDATE: I have spoken with representatives at Cabell Huntington Hospital and my insurance company multiple times since my first post. Apparently, it’s completely legal for Cabell Huntington Hospital to charge “facility fees” for seeing doctors at their facility. I feel that the hospital has more money than I have and that they don’t need to be putting an extra financial burden on their patients. As I currently owe for two visits to that facility, I will pay that debt, but I am looking for new doctors that are not associated with Marshall Health and at medical offices that only charge for medical services rendered.
