Recently I had an ultrasound done at Clinton Memorial Hospital. The experience could not have gone better. I got checked in very quickly and the admission person was really personable and efficient. The wait in radiology was minimal and the technician was excellent.

I was getting a ct scan with contrast and I have horrible veins that blow. So, instead of sticking me over and over which other hospitals do, they had Debbie from Amb Care. She was very sweet and professional, explained it to me how they do the IV Ultrasound. Tarra and Danielle wer the CT Techs, they were very professional and explained everything to me. They were all 3 awesome! You have a great staff.

Went to CMH on July 16 2025. I've lived in Clinton county many years and have learned over the years to avoid this hospital, we drive over to Dayton. But I was in a "squad" only situation so CMH was my only choice. I felt completely looked down on as a drug seeker from the second I arrived. The man and woman in ER said, oh, you're the back pain? And gave each other a look. That (drug seeking ) is a huge issue now and i understand the issues but dont treat people like that. Easy enough to check their historys I'm told by the two ER doctors in my own famiiy. It was humiliating and the rest of the visit was on those tones. I had fallen 4 days previously and could no longer walk or even really stand. The pain was exceeding. They dud xrays and CT. Said all was well (spine had stenosis , there's arthritis but nothing "new" to cause such pain. They sent me home. Absolutely no plan to move forward, no MRI discussion, nothing. I even asked the nurse, well, should I ice it or use ice and heat or what? And she said "yeah, whatever you want doesn't matter" zero professionalism, or basic help. Got home, fast forward 6 more days of almost unbearable pain. Sleeping in a recliner, using a Porta potty chair cause I couldn't walk to the restroom. No sleep. I am able to get to Soin in Beavercreek. They did their own xrays, CT and MRI in period of several hours. Turns out, I had a fracture in my back. Recent one. One ER doctor and 2 nurses there had immediate, very negative responses when they found out that CMH was my original health care provider. Stay away from this place. I knew it was a mistake to return after avoiding them diligently for so many years. And to the CMH ER - thank you for treating me so poorly, not diagnosing me correctly and sending me home in extreme pain with A FRACTURE in my back you did not read correctly on the CT. Judging from the responses from Healthcare professionals at Soin, your reputations preceed you and hopefully people will avoid going to CMH. Let's hope when the new Kettering facility is finished CMH will go out of business. **EDIT IN LATE AUGUST‐I did call the "special" line CMH suggested I call in their concerned response to my review. It of course yielded an unmanned voice mail system. I kept a complete message for a call back, as suggested. No one called. So , uhm, guess they aren't THAT concerned about their obvious screw up. I waited a week or more, called again. They did finally call back. Definitely no "We're sorry you went through all that...." because that's too close to an admission of guilt. But the lady did say they would "thoroghly" review their reading of the CT, they had notified proper parties involved and they would call me back once they learned something. That's 3 weeks ago and counting. Google this term if you must, but their responses to all the posted reviews are what you call "VIRTUE SIGNALING". In actuality, they could care less. Again, let's get Kettering built and staffed and watch CMH die.

I've been debating on even wasting more of my time with this hospital but I feel like it needs to be said in case anyone ever brings themselves or there loved ones to this hospital. I absolutely recommend that even if its a life or death situation go to a different hospital. So back in November I got really really sick and continued to be sick until January, but in December I was having a really tough time breathing and barely getting out of bed because of how little energy I had, I couldn't take it anymore so I went to Clinton Memorial thinking that they would at least give me a breathing treatment or antibiotics. They didn't do any of that. I got my diagnosis. Doctor confirmed I had covid. Had no idea. Then made me wait an hour in the room while the machine i was hooked to was beeping and the nurses didn't do anything for me. Then the nurse came in and threw the discharge papers at me and told me to leave, sitting there confused I asked her why wasn't I given anything, she then started yelling at me saying that she just wanted to go home and that me coming in there was a waste of her time and that needed to leave now. I kept pressing on the fact that I only came in there because It hurt to breathe and I just wanted at least a breathing treatment so I could go home and sleep. She laughed in my face and said no ones going to do anything to help me and kicked me out of the room, as I was walking out I continued to ask, why hasn't the doctor told me any of this? No reply. I started getting frustrated at this point and started crying in the waiting room, trying to figure out a way home and then she came back and screamed at me more, asking me why I wasn't leaving and me telling her that I didn't drive and it was 4am so no one was awake to be able to take me home and the cabs weren't running yet. She got even angrier saying "oh its not my job to find you a ride, you need to walk" and left in a huff. Someone ended up calling me the non emergency and a really nice officer took me home. I did ask the receptionist for the complaint number and I've been calling every week since this happened and I either get hung up on or told that the hospital is getting new staff so it doesn't matter anyway. Not sure why people like this get hired or work in this field if there not going to actually help people or treat everyone with kindness. Again, don't ever go to this hospital. These people were unprofessional and treated me like garbage.

LarderRoom...Say what you want about a small town hospital, but I've always received the best care at Clinton Memorial. The staff has always treated me and my family like... family. I hope I don't need the hospital, but if I do, I have full confidence in Clinton Memorial Hospital! Thanks again for taking such great care of me!
