Great place but takes 24-48 hours to have your prescription sent in
Do not go here. My dad's appt was at 8:30, and the doctor didn't even get to the office until 9. My 76 year old father has a large open wound on his arm. When we finally got to the room, the nurse removed the bandage and applied a topical ointment then covered it with gauze. When I expressed concern that the plain gauze would stick while we were waiting, she hastily removed it. The nurse and a tech person then discussed the new tech system for about 10 minutes in our exam room, and no one said one word to us. We were then left in the room for another 10 m with nothing covering his wound. No one really listened to him. At one point, the nurse left the room in the middle of him explaining what caused his fall that led to the wound. The whole thing was very unpleasant and gave me absolutely no confidence that they knew what they were doing. The doctor was dismissive of my concerns for my dad. When we had to change the bandage at home, it was stuck to the wound and was very painful to remove. This is what I had tried to explain to the doctor (based on the first time we had tried the method she was using), but was dismissed. When I asked her if what she was using was the same as "Xero gauze", she took out her phone and googled "Xero gauze" and showed me that 'nothing was coming up' and she had no idea what I was talking about. Turns out I wasn't saying it exactly right - it's 'xero form gauze'. For the record, if you google 'Xero gauze', Xero FORM gauze is the first thing that comes up. She knew exactly what I was asking. The only staff member that was kind and helpful was the woman at the front desk. Nothing about the appt was helpful and we will be cancelling our follow up appt.
Dr. Recavarren Abarca is the BEST! She was so kind and patient. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to doctor appointments and she was very reassuring and very informative in my care plan. She didn’t just try to rush me out the door and answered any questions I had as well as be very thorough with the exam. The nurse and front office were also very friendly!
Always had great experience here with Stephanie taking care of my Dad's bed sore and other trip fall cuts. Dr Asari took care of him at the rehab center as well as here. She is wonderful , warm, friendly and funny!
A few weeks ago I scheduled a new patient appointment for the end of august to see Dr. Telati. About a week later I receive a call from the office saying she will no longer be there for the day of my appointment. I was not upset because they called early enough in advance. Right then I rescheduled my appointment for today at 1:30, and have since then received an email confirmation and a call to confirm (they had to leave a voicemail since I could not answer at work). I arrive at the office 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. The receptionist had asked for my information to check in and then says that they tried to call me yesterday to have me reschedule since the dr does not see patients at 1:30 anymore. I expressed my frustration since I did not receive a call, voicemail nor email from the office. The receptionist claims that it would not let her leave a voicemail even though I do not have a full voicemail box. I asked to be put for the next available appointment and she says it isn’t until mid October. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of respect of their patient’s time and will not be making a future appointment here.
