This is our second time here, and both times have been wonderful. The therapist and doctors do a great job. Yes you will get a nurse or PCA that is hard to understand or culturally a tad different than we expect in the United States. The food is probably some of the best food you’ve had in any hospital setting. I understand why some may be aggravated that the rooms are not private. I guess all I can say to that, it is get better insurance or choose a less qualified hoity-toity inpatient physical therapy hospital, or get a sleeping mask with earplugs.

When my huband entered tje program he was almost completely.paralyzed and we did not have hope he would regain much movement. We just left after 5 weeks of outstanding therapy from PT Angie and OT Yaronda. PCA Terry took the best care of him and Chuck in the Cafeteria took care of me food wise and spirit wise! We are still.recovering at home but my husband just WALKED into our front door (with a walker, but still)!!! So grateful!

My niece has been in tirr for almost 2 weeks. The therapy staff is good but their the only one's who are good. This rehab center is not patient Friendly. If a patient calls for a nurse, it will be at least 30 minutes before they even come into your room. Unexcepted for a supposed to be "the best rehab in the medical center". They nurses appears lazy and uninteresting about getting someone in the patient room in a timely manner. The nurse staff sucks. Like they got so many patients, who's fault is that if my niece needs to use the restroom or possibly has an emergency. I'm not one to post but I don't care. People need to know TIRR is not what they use to be. Thats why their not even rated a 4 star let alone a 5 star. Like I said the therapist does their job while the nurses lie and hide. You may get good therapy but not good patient service. I hope someone sees this then maybe they will get it right. Room 303 is where my niece is and I hope management sees this because I am gonna keep blasting y'all until you get those nurse of yours under control and make them do their job. They don't even come in the room to check on her knowing she had a stroke and can't talk. Shame, shame shame.

When my wife was referred to TIRR, I did my due diligence. I got some first hand advice from my uncle who's Father in Law was a patient here, as well as my surgeon at MD Anderson. I read the reviews and success stories; and we were blessed to be admitted to TIRR. The progress she made at TIRR was outstanding. I cannot express how wonderful every doctor and therapist is at TIRR. Every one of these men and women are the best of the best. I truly believe that God blessed these doctors and therapists with the special gift of healing!

One thing I know for sure is these bus drivers around the medical center don’t care about other drivers. 😂 The will legit pull out in front of you AT THE LAST MUNUTE!! I flashed my lights at the driver and yet they still got over into my lane. You almost cause an accident by me almost hitting you not knowing if you have patients on your bus. Good thing I was paying attention. Y’all should be very aware when driving in the Med Center.
