Sleep Care at Adena Fayette County Memorial Hospital

Very good experience here. My third time here for tests. The only exception would be the check in desk on my last visit. Very indifferent receptionist while taking my information and the same when leaving. Borderline rude younger woman. Too busy on her cell phone to acknowledge her surroundings.

We were in Piketon overnight, I wound up going to their ER late due to shortness of breath/breathing issues. The drive up the road had no lighting and was scary enough. But then we went into the ER and it was scarier. I went to the intercom and pressed the button, a man came out into the area behind the glass, motioned for me to come to the other side. I went, he stared at me....just stared. Told him the issue, he rolls his eyes and opens the door, tells me to have a seat. Asks me in a demanding tone, LAST NAME....spell it out, FIRST NAME.....give it. DATE OF BIRTH....give it. He keeps snapping at me and his eyes kept twitching, and he gave a vibe he was about to snap. Printed out the bracelet, thrusts it at me with a pen and told me to initial it. I asked where on it, INITIAL IT.....so I did. No other words, a female that walked by asked "is he here for chest pain?".....guy says yes, still irritated that I'm there. She then replies...."oh another one".....I have never felt so uncomfortable in any type of medical facility being treated the way I was, and we went ahead and left and drove almost an hour to another ER despite having severe breathing issues.

Poor communication! Dr talked to us like we were stupid and was very rude. Wouldn't listen to any concerns we had for our Dad. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

I don’t understand why anyone would give this hospital more than one star. This hospital, at least the emergency room, has no idea what to do. Please do not take your family there. You are better off to drive a little farther to any other hospital.

I am a patient of Regina Tolliver CNP - PAIN MANAGEMENT. I see her at the Waverly office and I couldn't be blessed more than I am. She took over my pain management needs and her exceptional knowledge, experience and expertise in pain management is invaluable. For me, she is an extreme asset to the Adena Spine Center, division of pain management and has helped me greatly. I am grateful to have found her through a friend from West Jefferson, Ohio. He travels to Chillicothe to have her doctoring him and his needs. Thank you Jeff. Thank you too, Regina Tolliver. You have made the quality of life for me incredibly better.
