This place is a complete nightmare. Dr McBride is a god who is impossible to see. He forces you to see the nurse practitioner. She is very competent and compassionate. However, the woman who sits by herself in front of a computer looking at the schedule, not taking phone calls, and not doing anything is a major problem. She is the one who takes whatever orders you got during your appointment. At that point, you enter her orbit of disregard. She is supposed to see to it that your claim is processed and your sleep study is scheduled or your cpap appointment is scheduled. SHE WILL NOT DO IT. I have been waiting over a month for my cpap machine phone call. Turns out she hasn’t even put in a claim with my insurance for it. There is also a Becky who is in charge of these things. Not sure if it’s the same person or not, but they are deeply incompetent and putting people’s health and lives at stake. Sleep apnea is a serious medical condition and this office could not care less about your diagnosis. DO NOT GO HERE! Update: After sitting on hold for over 30 minutes, I drove over to the Sleep Apnea Education Center to try to get an appointment. This is the sign they have sitting in the reception area. There is no receptionist. They only come out if you have an appointment. I went to another office and found a very nice person named Angel who added notes to my chart about Rebecca Miller's failure and the Sleep Apnea Education's failure to make sure I had an appointment. They finally called me back a few days ago. Guess what? I get to drive 4 hours round trip to Lafayette to get my CPAP. Guarantee you they will charge me some huge fee for it too. Good luck everyone. Sleep apnea is a serious health condition.

I was at the sleep lab on the evening of 09/09/24. I was told, having been on CPAP nearly 30 years, and, due to me asking to be retested to keep records in this area, long story,I was hooked up to wires lije it was my first time. I had no issue with this. The tech came in about 1:30 and said I met criteria to have a mask put on We tried 5 Separate masks before we found one that fit better than the others No air leak. I have congestive heart failure due to AFib, also. After I came home, getting breakfast in the way, taking about a 90 minute nap,I weighed myself,as I do every day. I had lost 7( Seven) pounds by using a full face mask!!! Needless to say,I'm a happy camper!!! I go to an advanced heart care center, soi,I called to tell them .The nurse said they do know that Apnea does make it harder on the heart to pump harder. Needless to say,I'm a happy camper!!
