DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. If you are in serious need of QUICK medical attention DO NOT COME HERE. My fiancée and I arrived at the emergency room at 4am and informed both the front desk and triage team that she was in serious pain. She told them 1-10 she felt like an 8. Now she came in with a serious pain in her lower back/tail bone area that prevented her from standing up straight or sitting for long periods of time with any level of comfort. We waited 3 hours in the waiting room until we finally left after realizing they had no intention of actually helping her within a reasonable time frame. For context, I went up to the front desk to ask for updates and or a place where she could at least lay down while we wait and here are the responses I got: 1st attempt (1 hour wait time) - Receptionist: Well, you’ve only been waiting 55 minutes so it’s gonna be a bit more time to wait 2nd attempt ( 2and a half hour wait time) - Receptionist: Well, there are people waiting 6,8 & 10 hours so 2 and a half is not that much. Maybe wait till the shift change at 7 and hopefully they will be able to call you 3rd attempt ( 3 hour and 15 minutes) - Shift changes, a patient that was waiting with us earlier leaves so a room is cleared and still no update. We leave.
The worst ER I was there on 12/12/25 The Rn’s don’t care in the ER (night shift)they are rude impatient, they talk rudely to patients , I even left the place because of they the Rn Who spoke to me very rudely and was unprofessional ..!They have no passion for their careers as to helping patients , by being respectful .. and professional They complain about number of patients they’ve attended too and give rude looks while talking to me and other patients!! The leading Rn in the Er room on 12/12 /25 evening shift dressed in pink scrubs caucasian female (red head or ginger color her ) is damn rude and unprofessional. ( including the tall caucasian male) She even spoke of my condition loudly for other patient’s to hear while I was in the back !even when I asked her not be so loud. she made it look as if I came in there, pretending or lying of my condition as if I’ve lost my mind. I will never go back to this location, horrible the worst service in healthcare that I’ve ever received. The ER Rn’s evening shift only come to work for the money and don’t give a damn about any of the patients they are very unprofessional team .. no courtesy, no remorse, they wait is more than 5 hours as some patients even left the ER more upset !! There was even a Asian man begging to be seen .. since his pain on the lower pelvic area was so bad that had him crying loud ! The staff never took in back immediately they just ignored him and had the security man tell the patient who crying not to be so loud in the Er !! The other crazy thing was EMS brought a patient on the stretcher ( gurney ) to the waiting ER waiting room than she was placed on the chair and told to wait since it’s this time of they year ER it’s busy ! But none of the ER evening staff was working with urgency or fast, they all worked slow as if they had eaten a big meal , , they had mean faces , no friendly or no caring faces , they looked rude , not approachable !! Please train your Er evening staff that has worked on 12/12/25 to 12/13/25 Or change them or fire them !! To this evening shift Rn’s at the ER .. and staff if you don’t like dealing with patients then this is the wrong area of your career or job you’re working in !! Come to work ..with a good attitude that is positive ,professional and about saving life’s and helping to cure patients or help make it better not worse and horrible with your behaviors of bad patient service you provide in ER evening RN’s and staff !! My score count is Zero !!
I went into the ER tonight in excruciating pain. We all know the waiting time will be extensive, but I was the LAST person to be seen. I felt like my pain was completely dismissed. When I finally get a room, my dr was so nice. He took his time and listened to me. Gave me a clear plan of treatment, then walks in the most rude, dismissive, arrogant nurse I have ever met. The dr told me he was going to prescribe me pain meds, but according to the nurse I had to ask for them. When my husband went to ask for them for me, she catches an attitude with him, has security escort, all before I could get one word in. So logically i want to leave now and she begins to convince me that HE was the problem. Hermann used to be a name that brought comfort to you. That made you feel you were gonna world class care, those days are over! Save yourself the frustration. After 5 hours of agony, I’m still no closer to knowing what’s wrong with me
With my nursing experience, I came to this hospital on Sunday due to severe chest pain and difficulty breathing. The RN, Jennifer, was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and arrogant during my visit. If someone dislikes their job, they should not take it out on vulnerable patients. I do not recommend this hospital. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity and respect at all times—especially when they are already scared and in pain. Staff members who cannot uphold basic standards of compassion and professionalism should not be working in nursing. This experience was unacceptable and should be addressed immediately.
I’ve been coming to this hospital for many years. There’s an older lady with short hair at the front desk in the emergency room that speaks to you in a horrible tone as if she’s mad that you’re there. The drs in the emergency room have always been dismissive and it seems like they do their best to send you home. They don’t seem to care or hear you out. Once you’re moved to a room, the night shift is absolutely amazing! For whatever reason the day shift is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! They take forever to answer your call and when they do, they ALWAYS have an attitude. Then, they take their time to get to you. I don’t understand why but this happens literally every single time I’m there. They seriously need to do better. This is a hospital people are sick and going through things. There is absolutely no need to be treated like trash. If you don’t like what you do, find another job!!!!!! Also, the food they give might as well be given to dogs. It is absolutely disgusting and many patients have complained. Something must have changed over the years because it was not like this. It used to be very good. Memorial Herman you guys ask for feedback but don’t do anything to change and make things better. What’s the point of asking for feedback if things are not going to change? They have actually gotten worse over the years. You guys need to do better. The ONLY reason I come here is because my Dr practices here, NOT by choice.
