Honestly id give OSF a zero star if I could!! This hospital shouldnt be a hospital they really only care about ur money not ur health. Took my fiancée to the ER on 11-21-25 because she is pregnant and had not peed for almost 8 hours we spent a total of 2 and half hours and they didnt do anything. They did a catheter 3 times and never got it to work and made her bleed while she is pregnant we ended up having to take her to another ER in Paris, IL where the did their actual job and care about u as a patient/person i will never go back to OSF ever again.
I was very pleased with the kindness and care I received. The building inside and out is tidy and clean. The nursing and medical teams were caring and courteous. This was my first visit.
Another hospital in the area kept releasing my dad and he kept getting sicker. He had pneumonia and had stage 4 COPD. He was taken to OSF and they did an amazing job with him. They didn't release him until the ran the correct antibiotics and until he actually said he felt better. His doctors were wonderful. The nurses were so sweet. The caseworkers were really helpful. Thank you for caring about my dad and his family. We really do appreciate it.
I have really worst situation going on with my health since long Time i went many hospital don't wanna say the name but i went many places didn't feel good or solved the issues i have...but today i meet with doctor (Kassandra goodwin)she look everything very carefully and did research well, Without hesitate & she promise me she will make it better.. i have big hope on her finally i found a great doctor in my life osf is always great with such a great doctor thank you so much for your wonderful and professional service !!
6/27/25 update. Had a procedure scheduled that required sedation. There were several problems with scheduling and prior authorization. Show up for the procedure and the anesthesiologist shows up and tells me (at time of procedure) that they don't have the right equipment to do this procedure effectively. So they are going to give me a sedative injection and hope it holds through the procedure but that it may not since they don't have the proper equipment. Then they tell if we do this and it doesn't work they don't know if I can have another procedure for a few years. This should have been disclosed well before getting here. Anesthesiologist also didn't look professional. Scrubs appeared dirty and wrinkled at 10:30am, like they had been worn for multiple days. They have little accountability and no interest working on it either. Nursing and support staff are often rude. Scheduling department will literally tell you they don't know what they are doing. Have been waiting months for an MRI and still nothing as my health deteriorates. They use a lot of nurse practitioners where there should be doctors. These nurse practitioners are often new and don't know what they are doing. Its hard to feel safe here or that you are experiencing "Gods love" as they like to ask.
