I would rather die than go back to a hospital after my experience with berger. Just to sit in the emergency room cost 1400$ like paying rent to sit there. then you'll get a bill from a "contracted doctor" that actually sees you for another 700$ 800$, nice play on that scam, and you'll get a big bill for any medicine they give ya too. Highly dont recomend, thanks.

Went last night (7/19/2025) thru the morning of today (7/20/2025) for an emergency visit, and from the security, the nurse at the desk, the registration girl, ALL the ER nurses, techs, aides, the ct scan staff, and the ER doctor herself, Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible and engaged with us and made us feel like we were top priority and truly showed that they all cared. As i'm typing this, I'm even getting teary eyed at the level of service that we received, that's hard to find nowadays especially all across the board. I cannot thank the facility enough for having such patient, caring and understanding staff that also were so friendly on top of everything.

I had a hysterectomy and diagnostic laparoscopic surgery there for endometriosis. For both surgeries, I could not have asked for better healthcare team that took care of me. I get bad anxiety about having to have surgeries and they were all great in keeping me calm throughout the whole process. Dr. Kaur is an amazing doctor! Definitely recommend her for anything OBGYN related.

Over the past year, I had 6 colon surgeries, 1 hernia surgery, multiple dvt, and many wound care visits. Dr. Sever (and his team) did a great job. Katie P. did a great job. All of my nurses were wonderful. With these surgeries, I probably had a combined stay of almost 8 weeks (med/surge, er, and icu). Berger is where I'll go if I need future care. Always quick and my care is taken serious.

I recently had colon resection surgery and spent a few days in the hospital. I’ll start by commending Dr Sever and his team. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He is fantastic! I was very happy with my overall care during my stay. I want to give a special shout out to nurses Brianna, Molly, and Angie for being extra caring and attentive. I know there were others but I cannot remember the names of everyone who took care of me. The room service staff, as well as housekeeping were friendly and helpful every day. On the negative side, I feel the cafeteria food could use some major improvement. While it wasn’t all bad, I felt that it was lacking in quality. When you’re spending extended time in the hospital, you want good food, it just makes you feel better, and unfortunately, it just missed the mark. I was limited at first due to the type of surgery I had, but even then I felt the selection was just lacking. Also, the closing off of the main entrance at night and on weekends makes no sense at all. Prime time for visitors, and having to go around through ER and metal detectors is really inconvenient. If you can walk in and out of the main entrance when it’s open without security, it makes no sense at all to make visitors and staff go through the ER at other times. Plus, you can still exit through the main doors, so anyone could just come right in as someone exits. Hire someone to watch the main entrance, if that is the issue! With all that being said, I was very happy with my care, even before my surgery with the pre op appointment. I will definitely return for anything else I need in the future. Thank you to Dr Sever, his staff, and the nurses who took care of me during my stay!
