After the at home apnea test was negative, I emphasized to the receptionist that I still was having sleep issues what could I do and she suggested the on site sleep study. After getting my entire body all hooked up with electrodes - all over my head in particular, I was looking forward to getting some answers. They called back and said "you don't have apnea or restless leg syndrome". I was shocked that with all that equipment in the room and electrodes all over me, that's the only thing they test for? They bill thousands of dollars for something an at home apnea test or an angry spouse who's tired of being kicked at night could easily already tell you that you have. Surely there's more possibilities for sleep issues that a facility that specializes in sleep could help or advise on. I tried to push back and say again that despite not having those 2 things I am in fact having trouble sleeping, and she said I could work one on one with a doctor I had never been introduced to and gave me his number. Why would that not already be part of the process, why do I have to keep pushing to get answers? I was fed up and never called the guy, so I'm sorry I can't give you answers on that point, but if you don't think you have apnea, maybe ask for the doctors information and skip all the expense, time and effort wasted on just looking into that single possible cause.
Very disappointed in their lack of communication for your results, called better than 20 times no one ever answers or calls you back. My primary doctor has not even been able to get results.
They will not give me my results. I have called multiple times and the keep saying someone will call me back and they never do. I’m so confused as to why they won’t give me or my doctor the results!!!
I was disappointed to have to drive about 90 minutes to pick up the test equipment. Most places mail them back and forth! However, Courtney showed empathy and understanding & met me halfway to pick up my equipment after a sleep test. She is awesome!
A few yrs ago I had a sleep study done elsewhere and it was just so difficult that I ended up giving up before getting my bipap. 10 STARS The beds were Not rock hard so I could get an accurate reading! Everything was explained to me at every step of the way and all my questions were answered! This place has been a GOD SENT! Denise thank you so Much for helping and everyone was so professional and helped me to get the help I’ve desperately needed for so long without it being months and months of struggle! Every step of the way was made to be as easy as possible. Thank you for being the heroes you are for fighting for your patients.I am finally getting my bipap! I can not wait to wake up feeling like a whole human being!
