It is interesting to note that most of the positive reviews are several years old. The staff overall are passive aggressive. Phone messages are not returned, and the options you are forced to listen to in their auto-greeting are out of date. This practice blatantly has no interest in service and support. Do not waste your money there.
They don't answer the phone or return your phone calls. It takes several months (if you ever reach them) to schedule anything. They book several unnecessary appointments presumably to maximize the money they can collect from you. I feel like they actually get in the way of their patients receiving the healthcare they need.
No one there will answer your phone calls for the sleep study. I have called three or four times and left messages every time and never received a call back. Was told they were sending a prescription to Lincare when I went to the sleep study office to talk with the doctor to get my diagnosis Which the doctor was really nice and detailed but, I’ve called Lincare for two weeks now and they still don’t have the Prescription for my Machine.
I brought overnight pulse oximetry data to the doctor here at my initial appointment, and he agreed I had sleep apnea based on that data. But he wanted to order the full sleep study anyway. Fine, I thought, what's that, an extra week of this misery? Took 3 weeks from initial appointment to get sleep test arranged, then they tell me it would be another 5 weeks before they can do a follow up on the sleep test. Absolutely ridiculous with no respect for their patient's needs. I found an online place that will mail a sleep test to you, which you don't even need to mail back (it uploads the data), and got a CPAP prescription from the online place's doctor in my hands in less than 2 weeks total for everything. Driving all the way to lynchburg and back 4 times and waiting 3 months for this place is absolutely ridiculous when all this can be done online in about a week with no driving involved. This place isn't going to be in business for much longer when you can go online and do everything in a much more convenient way that doesn't take months and months of waiting.
Called to delay my appointment and the hateful woman that answered the phone cancelled my appointment all together after I've been waiting for a month to get on. Literally slammed the phone on me. She should be terminated immediately
