Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital

I gave 2 stars bc the staff was great. I went into the er for a few stitches in my thumb. The staff was great, I was able to cut up with them and have as good of a time as I could in the situation. But the bill, holy crap, the bill. I was there for all of 2 hours and the slapped me with a $2300 bill for 5 stitches. No wonder why people would rather die than go to the hospital. Please do better.

The freaking guy charge nurse been blaming me for no reason on crap that is not true for me no help from this carillon hospital in Lexington Virginia yall they are horrible people and very rude and love to bully the mental health young adults and harassed them for no reason like me so good luck with this hospital. Recommend you to go to Augusta Hospital medical Center in fishersville , not carillon in Lexington Virginia hospital y’all

In 2020 last day of October I was actively hemorrhaging from a miscarriage and told to go home, because my labs were fine. I knew I wasn’t fine due to the fact I had already bled through my clothes once and again at the hospital to the point I was bleeding all over the floor. The doctor had to confer with Roanoke because I told her I wasn’t leaving and had to advocate for myself while physically and mentally in distress. I was in a very fragile state at the time due to losing someone I loved deeply. This facility is a bad aide station at best and a morgue at worst. I filled an adult diaper with blood on the transport to Roanoke and proceeded to lose consciousness twice while staff in Roanoke attempted to catch me. Nobody informed me how serious any of this was and I almost died without my family’s knowledge. The care or lack there of I received that day has stayed with me and I as a local have to rely on this facility. It scares me.

I went to Emergency room on August 31st. Having some bleeding while my 3rd trimester. I came in with my phone charger and charging box. I was release and advised to go travel to Roanoke Hospital. I left my personal charger and box in emergency room 2. I called immediately after leaving and on way to Roanoke and when I called they confirms that both were left and going to be held for me to pick up next day. When I went back in next day they only had the charging wire. Box/ cube was missing I said I confirmed last night that both were left behind. I gave old enter lady details and description of what it looked like and what was written on it. She came out from the back demanding to know what ER was on it. She said it belongs to the emergency room. I said it did not since when does the emergency room ever give or let borrow iPhone 16 charger and box/ cube. I walked out and said you know what it looks like this hospital needs it more than me since that have nothing they need to help patients that go in with real life emergencies. Than I realized ohh heck no they think I am trying to steal it from them! And I am no thief! And I demanded that they give to me! And only after I said I am reporting this is when I was given it back. And older fair skin heavy set lady that that does registration desk stated that the older lady that was helping me went on break therefore she was not able to help me. She totally lied! The old lady was in the back doing only God knows. I asked her were u on break because heavy set lady said that you went on break which was a total lie! Totally unprofessional and now I know why they say keep away from Rockbridge hospital at all costs! Guys please don’t plan on dying cause Carilion Rockbridge hospital will not help you in away way! And don’t leave personal items behind because you will be accused of being a thief!

The PA I dealt with didn’t even have the balls to put her name down. She worked with Dr Riley. Completely unprofessional!! Lord help me if I have a heart attack!! So wrong!!
