I have to be so honest here. When I tell you that not only the amazing care from the very best physicians to the best nurses. Then just when I thought I was good. Mrs. Dumile Wagner, BSN, RN came to visit me & made everything even better. She is so kind and so thoughtful. She is truly concerned about my health and my stay here. She made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient. She’s patient and extremely supportive. I feel like I actually have a voice. She has been so positive and a great listener. Even her upbeat personality is so refreshing. She is definitely one of your shining stars here. Iam truly grateful for everyone, especially Mrs. Wagner. Thank you Mrs. Wagner, I won’t forget you.

Worst place to be for ER visit. I wish there were a zero star option. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. The guard was nice. A volunteer had to take my vitals, which was concerning in itself. I was asked for my weight, and when I provided a number, I asked whether it wasn’t their responsibility to weigh patients. The blunt response was “no.” I don’t blame the volunteers since she was a student, but the lack of supervision and basic protocol was unacceptable. The receptionist was not kind at all.

My experience at HCA Florida Northwest has always been great. Whether as a patient or a visitor everyone from first contact is amazing, the valet team, visitor check in with Tommy, Nurses like Benita and the entire 3rd floor, their nutrition and sanitation team make this a great hospital. The NICU Team deserve so much praise. (Sasha, John, Erlande, Jenni, Ashley, Gina and everyone).They always adhere to security guidelines provide timely updates and take such good care of their charges. You can tell everyone enjoys their jobs. They really take pride in their work, treat you with dignity and warmness without overstepping. They take the time to explain so you can make informed decisions and you feel like an empowered client. I appreciate their hard work and ability to make a stressful event feel less scary and a team effort.

No one looks forward to a hospital visit, but if you're in the Margate area and need care, I highly recommend HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. From the moment I arrived, every nurse, technician, doctor, and staff member showed genuine compassion and dedication to my well-being. The ER team was incredibly quick, efficient, and professional, and the rooms were spotless, and well-equipped. The nurses were exceptionally professional, caring and gentle throughout my stay, and communicated well with the doctors. A huge thank you to Dr. Nicholas Ahye for his expert diagnosis, outstanding surgical skills, and truly compassionate approach—he made all the difference. Also, special thanks to Dr. Nathaniel Thomas for his excellent care. All the nurses and staff were amazing—I wish I could remember everyone's name! A few who stood out include Rose, Avery, Christina, Sheilene, Yenni, and Mary Jane. Even the support team went above and beyond: Thank you to Mary Ann in food services and to "Busy Bee" in housekeeping, who chased me down at the elevator upon discharge just to say goodbye and that she'd miss me! This hospital and its people made a difficult time a little easier. Thank you all!

I would like to highlight the exceptional emergency staff at your facility. My special appreciation goes to Kathleen, the nurse technician in the Emergency Department. She consistently demonstrates kindness and goes above and beyond in her care. She is personable, engaging, and continuously checked on my daughter throughout our visit. Her professionalism and compassion are exemplary, and she represents the positive face of your hospital. Additionally, Rachel, the resident, was outstanding in her interactions with my daughter. She explained all necessary procedures clearly, maintained a positive attitude, and smiled throughout the visit. I also commend Supervisor Dr. Lickerman for his leadership. I sincerely appreciate the efforts of these three individuals during our visit.
