I went into clinic with some chest pain. They referred me right away to ER. SHORTLY THEREAFTER I had stent placed and I am doing well. Thankful for their quick response.
The last two times going into the clinic have been HORRIBLE. The first time the front desk lady embarrassed me in front of the whole lobby when I tried to relay the personal issues I was in for that day. The second time which was today the nurse told me to ‘’put my phone on the chair’’ when I tried to explain I have a whole list of symptoms in my notes app that I would like to talk about. I think she just totally ignored me when I tried to relay my symptoms. I was also let into the room five minutes after coming in but stayed in the room (did a few tests that took about 5 minutes) and was in the room for about two hours. However they could have just been busy. If it wasn’t for me not being able to find my med insurance card I would absolutely go to the Express Care Clinic instead.
This clinic is a total mess. It takes 12 to 17 minutes for Doctors Receptionist to even awnser the phone. Then if you would like to see the Doctor you have to go through the nurse. If she feels you are not important enough. The patient does not get a call back for 2 or 3 days.If the patient needs any return to work paperwork. Even it you start 3 days in advance. also after a surgical outpatient procedure. I physically went to clinic and waited an hour to get paperwork.
This used to be my clinic of choice. NOT ANYMORE. Back when my 1st cardiologist was there I drove 75 miles (one way) for my appointment just to find out he was on vacation and they forgot to call me. Scheduled for the following month just to drive another 75 miles to find out he had been called out for emergency. That one I totally understood. This is my 2nd 75 mile trip to hear my new Dr had already left. My appointment was at 220 pm. ARE ALL THESE PPL SO BUSY THEY CAN'T CALL AND LET ME KNOW. I think it is time to find a new Dr and a new hospital 🤬
I have had a few appointments with an audiologist and with an ENT at this clinic. This clinic is an hour away from me but I didn’t mind the drive because I’ve never had an issue. The doctors are great and seem to care but I tore the ligaments in my ankle and had to use crutches and was already 12 minutes late so I asked 3 different nurses downstairs to wheel me to the elevator none of them would do which caused me to be 17 minutes late which means they rescheduled my appointment so I drove an hour for nothing. Then I come back for the rescheduled appointment which I was told would be at 1 when I rescheduled it(I stood right next to her as she rescheduled it)then when I arrived at 12:45 I was told my appointment is at 3:30. This is absolutely garbage. This needs to be worked on and the office staff need to not be so rude when you ask a simple question(without attitude I may add)
