I have been recently diagnosed with sleep apnea....got refered to star sleep & wellness and walking in was met with a fantastic and friendly environment. Sam, the wellness associate, was amazing to work with. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and patient to walk me through the procedures and explained everything thoroughly. On my follow visit, I was taken care of by Natalie, fantastic wellness associate, friendly, very engaging and thorough with explaining on what to expect and how to take care of my device. Everyone I met here is great and engaging and very helpful!!

I first visited this clinic in August 2025. The staff seemed pleasant, and I was very clear from day one that I’m an APAP user and was there for a sleep study specifically for an APAP machine. Fast-forward to September: I get my results, and suddenly they’re pushing hard for an oral appliance instead. I repeated—again—that I wanted APAP. Then came the sales pitch: I was told there was no cost difference, and that I’d pay the same regardless of whether I chose the oral device or APAP. I asked very directly if that was true, and they confirmed it. Spoiler: it wasn’t. I later called to get actual cost estimates for both options. No one called me back. After waiting a couple of weeks, I gave up and called billing myself. Turns out the oral appliance costs more for me, and my insurance only fully covers the APAP machine. So, I scheduled an appointment for APAP only. Today, I called to confirm I’d be picking up the machine. I was told “yes.” But when I arrived? Completely different story. They were all set to fit me for the oral appliance anyway. At this point it’s obvious the clinic must make a hefty profit off those devices, because they keep trying to funnel patients into them. I explained—again—the entire situation. The poor staff member went to get a director, came back, and told me someone would “call me soon.” And then hit me with: I couldn’t take the APAP machine home because it wasn’t the one my insurance would cover. This has been four months of miscommunication, upselling, and being bounced between people who clearly don’t talk to each other. Phone staff, billing, office staff—they’re all telling different stories. It feels like calling a random call center every time. Absolutely exhausting. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone looking for honest, straightforward sleep care.

I cannot express enough how incredible Samuel was taking care of me and introducing me to the sleep study. From the moment we met, he radiated a sense of calm and kindness that immediately put me at ease. Samuel took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand, even when I felt overwhelmed by the idea of the study. He didn’t just answer my questions—he anticipated them, making sure I felt confident and informed at every step. What really stood out to me was how attentive and empathetic Bob was. When I expressed my concerns about the equipment or how the study might affect my sleep, he reassured me with patience and even shared tips to make the experience more comfortable. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure I felt heard and valued. His professionalism was matched by his genuine care, and it was clear that he is passionate about helping others improve their health. Thanks to Samuel, what I originally thought would be a stressful and intimidating experience turned out to be smooth and even hopeful. His encouragement and support made all the difference, and I left feeling not only well cared for but also optimistic about the potential impact of the study on my health. Natalie and April are absolutely amazing and full of knowledge in helping me understand how to use my appliance. I love all the staff here. It was easy to do the take home study and the appliance came very quickly. Hands down recommend especially to moms postpartum who’ve met their deductible. Do all the things that improve your sleep because every minute counts!!

I’ve been coming here for a month and so far have had appointments with Julie and Sam. They are both extremely knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and kind! Interactions with both of them have been awesome. I like that they offer more options than just a cpap machine since I’m learning not all places do. As for their facility? Immaculate. I very much appreciate a clean and sterile environment when it comes to my teeth and this checks all the boxes for that as well. Both wellness advisors I have seen were perfect in their changing gloves and sterile practices. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. I also LOVE that they do 2-way text communication here. Have a question? Sending a quick text is so much easier than making a phone call. Overall I have no complaints. It’s been wonderful.
