This is horrible! I been here with my son going on 3 hours and we are still in the (waiting room). First and foremost I have never seen a waiting room this small with 15 chairs. Please wear a mask because everyone is so close. Never again. I will gladly drive the extra miles to the next nearest hospital.. 0 stars!

Came in for an X-Ray. Stood at the front desk in Radiology for almost 15 mins and no one came to greet me. I took my phone and called the X-Ray dept. 3 times because if someone answered I was going to say please come to the front desk and help me. The phone rang and rang with no answer. I myself work in a medical center and this is the worst customer service I've ever encountered in a hospital. I really hope someone from the Radiology Dept. at BJ sees this and understands that hospital 101 is you always have someone at the front desk to greet customers......ALWAYS.......this is exactly why no one wants to come here..... 9 DEC 2025

On Friday evening, I developed the worst migraine headache that I had ever experienced. My vision was distorted, which does not usually occur, so when the pain continued to worsen later Fiday night, we decided to seek help and my husband took me to BJH ER. Noise and lights were extremely painful. I already have balance issues and that was also exacerbated. I was in so much pain from the headache that I was basically hardly able to communicate. I really don't remember much. The staff seemed nice enough. I was offered a wheelchair by someone. The triage nurse helped me to the restroom because my stomach was upset. Then I was asked to give a urine sample, which I could not do since I had just been to the bathroom, but I was unable to coherently ask for water. I think she thought I was being belligerent, but I was simply very sick and in a great deal of pain. I was put back into the waiting room where I could not open my eyes, lift my head or stand the sounds and smells. My husband told me that there were lots of people ahead of me and he thought I would be more comfortable at home, so we left and I wasn't treated. I came home and took more of my migraine medication. It eased off somewhat, but I was very nauseated and unable to eat and the pain began to escalate again on Sunday afternoon, so my sister took me to another ER in Garner, where I was properly treated and finally got some relief. I was very disappointed in being unable to be seen at Betsy Johnson and how my pain was dismissed as "stable ".

My experience at this hospital was not a very good one, l went in sick & left the same way, l am still dehydrated, running a fever, constipated & have an infection, so l think l would of been better to of going to the other hospital. Sorry but have to be honest, only had one good nurse Rebecca on 4th floor. Even had bad experience with Rescue Worker.

Been here for almost 2hrs now just waiting to be seen. I told them I was light headed and committing, and feel very weak. It’s always a 2-3 hour wait to be seen and discharged here. P.s…it’s literally just me and one other person in this waiting room and he’s just here visiting a patient.
