Sleep Disorders Center at MedProvider

I loved my PCP that I saw at this office, however, working with the Billing team is a different story. I was charged for labs that were part of my preventative physical that my insurance would have covered. After going through a claims review, I was told that they were coded correctly and wouldn't be changed. I will certainly take up with my insurance but Baylor provides zero pay transparency, told me that I also had diagnosis in my medical record that I was not aware of and offered zero help to get me to the right person to get to the bottom of this. It shouldn't be this dfficult to work with providers and insurances where the patients don't have any transparency into what we are paying for. A broken system for sure but I also don't appreciate the attitude that I was given when my demeanor was nothing but positive and inquisitive. Changing out of the Baylor system completely - after over 10 years.

I was a MedProvider patient for over 20 years, but add me to the list of former patients who were treated terribly when their doctor left for concierge service. I tried scheduling with 3 different doctors, only to be told the day of the appointment that they weren't accepting new patients., even though the scheduling website says they are. Called in and they said that regardless of the fact I'm now out of my prescription medication because of these cancelled appointments, they can't do anything about a new appointment for over a month. Absolutely zero concern from the staff for patient care anymore, even though I'm sure some of the doctors are still great.

Hands down the best care I have received ever. Made appointment with Dr. Dittmar @ 8:00 am. He ordered labs, urine and CT Scan - At 10 am I was walking out the building with all orders complete. Doctor & lab was on 11th floor, stopped on 6st floor for scan and doctor referral was contacted by end of the day! That’s service! Good service I may add! Very impressed!

I have been a patient here for years. The level of care and attention to medication refill is horrible. My original Dr left for concierge service to which I was then transferred to another doctor. Every month I have had issues with getting my medication refill. I call in, follow up on all my appointments when I am asked to do so and I still receive NO RESPONSE in regards to my requests. On top of this, the lack of concern for withdrawal symptoms from not responding to my refill requests is disturbing and dangerous. Don’t prescribe those medications if you have zero intention on monitoring your patients on those meds. Be better!

Unbelievable! Called Doctor's office and was welcomed to become a new patient. Provided my insurance information and waited while they confirmed. All was good to go, they scheduled an appointment with me and sent me a confirmation. I show up and they apparently cancelled my appointment with calling or emailing. Doctor says "I'm not noaking new patients... Wow! What a horrible experience. I'd discourage anyone from using this Doctor cohort as they clearly aren't focused on customer experience.
