Capitol Sleep Medicine at Knightsbridge Sleep Diagnostic Center

Folks, I don't normally leave reviews, but in this case, I'm hoping to save others from the frustration of dealing with this business, specifically the location on Knightsbridge. The doctors are nice enough, but every other aspect of working with them is terrible. The dark-haired lady at the front desk is a nightmare of rudeness. I called to change my appointment to pick up my machine to an earlier time, which the gentleman I spoke to said was fine. When I arrived, the lady at the desk was nasty and complained that I was too early and that it was my fault I had to wait so long. She said her team member never told her about the schedule change. I stood there waiting for her to realize this was an internal communication failure, something she should have taken up with her colleague instead of berating me for it. I waited in vain. She never apologized, just continued on with her poor client service. Thankfully, another team member overheard and quickly moved to prepare my things. The same woman snapped at my husband when he came for his appointment. She yelled, saying he had the time wrong. No, he didn’t. I heard him make the appointment. Ultimately, he drove all that way for nothing, as she refused to accommodate him or admit that once again, they had made a mistake. For over a month now, I’ve been attempting to get the prescription ordered by the doctor sent over to the provider who needs to fulfill it. I’ve called, and the other provider has called multiple times. No response, no action, no explanation. Here is a practice whose sole job is to help people get the medical care and support they need. Instead of doing that, they are literally stopping that from happening. There are so many great doctors and service providers out there. Do yourself a favor and move forward with one of those. Don’t waste your time with these people or subject yourself to the rude lady who would rather yell at patients than do her job.

Absolutely the worst experience i've had with a doctor. there is zero followup or reminder for any appointments. There is zero connection between what the appointment is and what happens when you get there. Schedule because your cpap is non functional and the first appointment is on a day and time when there is no one at the site who can replace a cpap. doctors only available very limited morning hours before your redirected to their south side location. Multiple wasted appointments for simple requests like new supplys which are usually more cheaply and quickly found on amazon. Overall communication is abysmal and I often feel like the quality of care here could be duplicated with a craigslist cpap probably more cheaply since insurance seems to cover nothing with them

I have never been so unhappy with medical care in my life. The physician assistant at Capitol Sleep Medicine has been extremely rude and dismissive. He doesn’t listen during appointments, has not followed up with me once in over a month, and even sent me a message telling me I “need to put more effort” into using my CPAP — despite the fact that he gave me the wrong mask after I clearly explained that I’m a mouth breather. Because of that mistake, I had to make multiple appointments just to get the correct equipment. When I called to request that the pressure be lowered because I couldn’t breathe comfortably, no one followed up. His message blaming me for the issues was unprofessional and completely unhelpful. I’ve since scheduled with another provider and am now switching to a new practice altogether. I would never recommend Capitol Sleep Medicine based on the lack of care, follow-up, and respect I’ve experienced.

I took my 85 yr old mom (in a wheelchair) here for her sleep study and it was great. We had Jordan and she was kind and patient with us. Dr Walter was great and the girl at front desk was very kind as well. We learned a lot and I pray she gets the right mask so she has more energy throughout her day.

Dr Tim Walter’s is amazing doctor I had seen him for years. He is straight to the point. He cares about me! I appreciate the years & times I had him as a doctor. My insurance change which sucks I had to get a new doctor.
