What a complete waste of time and money. As usual, St. Francis Specialty clinics are inept and deceitful. My bill for a 5 min consultation to determine I need an at home sleep study, pick up the equipment, and drop it back off for review somehow went from $40 to $177 w/BCBS by the time they kept adding fees over the course of a week. Now they want me to come in for a study, yeah no. I'm sure that will cost another $300-500 by the time they lie about what insurance will and won't cover.
Their care has gone downhill. I can't even get hold of them to get my prescription filled. They used to be so awesome! I miss those days when my sleep disorder was well managed and every day I smiled, instead of crying from exhaustion. The last four years I lived my best life. I took a very low dose of medication, yet it managed my disorder. Now, I will have to struggle like I did the 30 years before Dr Bregman diagnosed me, because I can't get hold of them to get my script filled. Starting next week, my life will be hell again, like it was most of my career. I did it for years, so I can do it again. It will be hard and depressing to struggle like I used to, but I won't let them ruin my future. I will find a way to stay awake. I will fight this disorder, even if I have to fight it alone. I just wish they would call in my rx they prescribed
I’ve read the other reviews and I must agree that the sleep center should be updated. However, my experience with the staff was exceptional . Dr. Bregman is a great Dr. and I’m sad that he is retiring. My tech, Stephanie, that worked with me during my study did an excellent job and I hope that they will assign her to my future studies.
The equipments are old, I didn’t like how much glue they had to put on my head to attach the wires. seems really old style. Also, the nurses were awful. I was already uncomfortable, and by the time I was ready to fall asleep, they start being loud and laughing and talking, and when I told the nurse, I can’t fall asleep because I can hear you guys laughing and talking. She asked if I needed ear plugs I agreed to use it. still could hear them so I had to use my white noise on my phone and finally was able to fall asleep at 1:00 AM. when I asked in the morning why they were so loud ? she said she didn’t know what I’m talking about. I paid $500 out-of-pocket for this visit and feel like they did not care about the program and why I was there the main purpose was for me to sleep. I feel very disappointed. I hope my result is not affected by their behavior.
Had a great visit here for my sleep study!! They kept all the main lights out and the Nurse was so extremely helpful and so compassionate and nice! It was really quiet, but not TOO quiet! Lol Very knowledgeable staff all around. Also, the Center was super clean and comfortable. I was pretty nervous about having to do the study to begin with, but the Nurse put me right at ease immediately. Very appreciative.
