The Sleep Center is an AASM-accredited sleep center located in Independence, KS. The clinic specializes in home sleep testing and in-lab sleep testing (Polysomnography). Patients can receive expert care for circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia, narcolepsy, parasomnias, restless legs syndrome (RLS), sleep apnea, sleep-disordered breathing, sleep-related movement disorders, and snoring.

Couldn’t even take the time to see me made me wait almost 3 hours in a room in a gown with a possible testicular torsion would not recommend going for anything important
Left my fiancée in the room for two hours it’s not busy at all and it was a medical emergency. Also very hateful and rude.
I had no issues with the staff at the er, all were friendly. My only issue is make sure you don’t have any nice jewelry on you that you may have to remove. I had a ct scan & had to remove an expensive necklace. I laid it on top of my jacket, when I was done we were talking, I grabbed my jacket etc without thinking, put it on & left. I realized half way home that I didn’t have my necklace so I called & let them know & was told she’d put it at the front desk to pick up. Told them would be later that day or the next. Sent my daughter the next day & they claim to not have it (which no one bothered to let me know after my call). I know 100% that it’s there, had to have flown off of my jacket when I picked it up so I don’t know if they just aren’t looking around or if someone stole it. Either way I’m very upset as it was a special gift. Update, one of the heads of the clinic called. He heard about what happened & had made some phone calls to look into it. At first it wasn’t found but then a bit after they called him back & someone found it. Thank you for looking into it & thank you to the person that found it, much appreciated!
My spouse has quite a list of medical challenges that her primary care doctor has been working with her on. While on a family trip we had to visit the ER here. The doctor and nurses were very nice and well trained to deal with her medical issues. Thank you everyone
Please go anywhere but here! I’ve been for a few different reasons throughout the past couple years and NEVER had a good experience. The first time I came in with a broken leg and the first thing the doctor said to me when I came in was “just so you know if it’s just a sprang there’s nothing we can do about it here that you couldn’t have just done at home.” Turns out my leg was full on broken! The nurse was super rough with me yanking my leg up while she was wrapping it yelling and telling me to sit still (while making me hold my own broken leg in the air so it was kind of hard to keep it from shaking) the next time I came in I was sitting in the back room waiting and heard the nurses and doctors talking bad about so many of the other patients and laughing at them and their situations (loud enough to where all the patients in the back could hear.) I’ve also had other people tell me it happened while they were there too. If you have an emergency DEFINITELY take the time to go somewhere else. Because they’ll just try to get you in and out quick and will either give you the wrong diagnosis or say nothing is wrong when something is.
