I’m new to the area and needed to establish primary care. I’m really glad I found Physicians East in Winterville! Not only is the facility well kept and clean, the staff are all very kind. My appointment was at 1:15pm and I was out of the waiting room and in an exam room on time. Dr. Dang was very personable and took time to talk to me and answer any questions I had.
Well, I went to the doctors. The receptionist were great. They already had my information. The nurse help me fill out my paperwork. The doctor was excellent a very nice man and you could tell. He knew what he was doing. I look forward to seeing Dr Dang again in two months Thank you.
Currently looking for new providers. Not with Physicans East. The check in, wait time, is horrific. Why have patients to arrive 15 minutes early just to wait 1 hr before being bought back to the room? The worst visit that I have had since joining PE over 20 years ago. That is from Family Medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, dermatology, obstetrics and urgent care. The worst visit ever with wait time. I’m still waiting for the correct prescription to be sent to CVS. The pharmacy states they have made contact and still waiting for a reply. 3+ days later. Dr Murphy said the transition will be smooth before she left and I’ve had more visits to meet the next “new” 5th provider in the last year than for my need. And I still haven’t meet Dr Dang #6. Apologies mean absolutely nothing if there is no change 1 year later. I understand and respect the business as I am a healthcare professional. 1 star for cleanliness 1star for front desk
After a very frustrating experience, Physicians East reached out to follow up. After a wonderful conversation with the patient liaison, Barbara, I feel Physicians East genuinely cares for the patient experience. A couple poor experiences do not warrant 1-star review, as Physicians East and Dr. Bear have taken very good care of me for several years.
