OSF Sleep billed me for electroencephalogram- while the services were NOT rendered at all. They billed $ 2,079 for an electrode that was attached to my finger and chest only- electroencephalogram involves the BRAIN recording - simple medical terminology… I guess any provider can - and should?- bill for a heart transplant while the patient is only getting a flu vaccine???? Doesn’t it sound like fraud?

We have been here before with my daughter who is seven years old and the first time with her it went great. We had a female she was very gentle and it was a great experience. The second time around, I had to come with my two-year-old son. You’d think that they may be had the stuff done by now. I kept my two year-old up all day long. No naps ran him into the ground. He fell asleep on the way there. We got him into his room and he fell asleep immediately. I told the guy that our best shot was to just let him get into a deeper sleep connect everything and maybe get half a night because once he woke up, he’d probably freak out. They waited until he fell asleep, which keep in mind they can see you. Then he came inside the room turned every single light on and woke my two-year-old up. Anybody that knows toddlers knows that that was the worst thing to do in that scenario . He Then proceeded to tell me that my idea wasn’t going to work and then tried to hook everything up to my 2 year old After he just pissed him off by waking him up. Of course we didn’t get anywhere and the night was pointless. Why could he not have tried it my way we had all night? I was there willing to work with y’all if you had actually listened to me. We got there at eight and left by 9:30 because I was not about to traumatize my child and myself. That was the worst experience I’ve ever had y’all need to do better.

I have had three in-person sleep studies done here and for the previous two, my tech's were so rude that I almost left before the test started. The one tech was Mia, who was so condescending that I quite literally thought I was being pranked. I almost walked out but completed the test anyway. The last time I went, I had Ricki as my tech and she was very rude and unprofessional. Ricki even yelled at me at one point when I didn't understand her directions. She also yelled at me over the microphone when I checked my phone for a fraction of a second in the morning, just minutes before she came in and ripped the machinery off of me anyways. I am so shocked that the last TWO times in a row I dealt with such rude technicians.

While I was in my appointment, I experienced two Interruptions. One interruptions, the assistant knocked and walked in, not invited into the room. I was treated as if I was making up my symptoms. Nurse Brooks displayed no Empathy for the suffering I have endured. i left knowing no more then when I arrived. I didn’t get to see a doctor or even a Referral to a doctor. Nurse Brooks seems to be concerned, not about me, but in a hurry for the next patient. Poor experience. If you are Experiencing augmentation due to Ropinirole don’t go here for answers. .

I went in for a standard mslt and my dr assured me I could have my tv on and I could go out between naps. The tech I had was rude, had zero empathy for my anxiety and ptsd, and actually kicked me out for asking for the care I was promised. I forgot a few things there and then I went back to get them she rolled her eyes, claimed she lost my clothing, and she had previously berated me before she kicked me out. This particular tech needs sensitivity training and a job where she does not interact with patients. I needed that malt for my health and medications. I and my family will suffer due to her rash, dismissive and superior attitude. This behavior was ridiculous and abusive. I expect better. If someone could please reach out to me in order to correct this, I would greatly appreciate it. I was the patient denied the mslt on Monday September 23, then escorted out as though I was the threat. My next step will be contacting the media.
