I'm not happy to be writing this. I would like to start with saying that all the people that I have ever dealt with at any Childrens Facility have been very kind. My Twin boys in 2018 were having extreme difficulty making minimum time in a mile run when the sixth grade gym teacher approached me concerned. Physical activity had to be light or I would have a vomiting child. One of my sons was worse than the other. Their mother used inhalers for asthma. Went in for an asthma test and it was negative. Had 2 visits to cardiology and was told that some kids develop slower than others and all looks good. Didn't know what way to go and covid came along, things got ignored. My boys were fully grown and I decided to start helping my son who suffers the most to go out and start exercising, this was right before his 18th birthday. He didn't make it a half mile through a walk before he was wiped out and staggering around dizzy. After a couple hour rest he still had not recovered. After being scared of an emergency I took him to Anderson Mercy where they took him right in and long story short they diagnosed him diabetic 1. Being under 18 they sent him to Children's. After a bunch of test genetics got involved and turns out he has a Mitochondria disease. They wanted him to take their Mitochondria cocktail of vitamins. All my children got tested and all 3 have it. Each child got an EKG, Echocardiogram, Brain MRI, Opthalmology exam, and PT work up. That's 15+ visits and all of my children are supposed to be taking the vitamins. Asked every visit "when you calling the vitamins in?" Tri State Compounding would not get any orders. This started in January of 24. One time they got started but we have been out of vitamins for months. How many times can we mess this up. You are probably wondering why I didn't call? Well I've been dealing with a father who has been in and out of hospice care and dealing with his sister that's in similar condition and fighting with BWC trying to get my back fixed since May 7, 2021 and also had c3 through c7 fused in my neck and all the visits and PT that goes with that. With that in mind how many times do I have to ask for vitamins? I would think that well over 15 times would be excessive wouldn't you. After so many phone calls on this subject do you think you could fix the communication problem with Tri State Compounding? Lets move on. My daughter attends college a little over 2 hours away. One of my sons also attends college here and the other has started working. Twice I have been rescheduled this year and when I try to make appointments that works for their schedule, you guys can't keep it. I think we are on our third maybe fourth genetics doctor. Lets move on to Ghost text. For about 6 months this year I would receive a text to schedule Luke for an appointment only to find out that it was for the appointment that you just cancelled for 1-7. After the third month I made special request for you guys to fix the problem and it only took another three. If an appointment is needed lets get it done but don't be crying wolf! It is very difficult to get an appointment with genetics so maybe you guys should be better at keeping them. The last in person visit with genetics there was a mix up with the doctor telling me that Luke needed to go back to PT when I knew good and well that his visit went fairly normal and was told he didn't need to return. We tried to schedule a visit because I figured the doctor could see something that I couldn't. Well PT told me the same thing, he doesn't need to come back at that time. My son Matthew is the one who suffers the most from this disease and he's the one you need to be paying attention to. As I said at the beginning, for kindness all of you get an A+++++. What kind of grade would you give yourselves for actually getting the job done. Going forward my children are going to have to start doing their appointments and prescriptions themselves. I hope you serve them better than you have served me.

Today my daughter is 4 months old because of the staff at Cinci Children's. I could write a book on how amazing this hospital is. Thank you to every single person who helped us. One of our nurses even emailed me once in a while to check in throughout the rest of my high risk pregnancy, and after Rosemary was born. I am just forever thankful.

First and foremost, I would give Children's Hospital Emergency Room, Cincinnati Ohio a 10 rating if you had one. To the staff at Children's Hospital ER, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the care and support you all provided for my daughter, Adrianna. Your commitment to your patients is truly admirable. This was our first Emergency Room visit to Childrens Hospital and Adrianna's first admission into any hospital, which can be very scary for any child. Everyone from the Food Services Personnel, Aids, Nurses, and Doctors were absolutely amazing. I am grateful for your unwavering dedication and exceptional support everyone provided during my daughters stay at your hospital. Respectfully, Daniel Fisher

My son has been fighting an aggressive wound caused by an extremely painful staple removal at Central Baptist. The year thereafter has compounded with Staph (MRSA), additional stitches procedure and constant oral+topical antibiotics tough on the immune system. While it cannot be proven the true source of this battle, we have seen every pediatric specialist possible, waited on referrals and managed records with insurance providers. It has been pressing on my son’s standard of living as well as 2 working parents who work to make ends meet and the time pulled away from family to keep momentum. We are forever grateful to finally end up in the hands on Cincinnati children’s Pediatrics with Dr. Tolley and sweetest Emma. At this stature of healthcare, the prep and research time is arguably expected but what sets one provider from another is delivery. Empathy, expertise, balance, comfort, promising, compassion… That’s why I write this. The end to end experience from check in to departure was seamless and the peace of mind we have needed for so long. If anyone has read this far, don’t wait. Go as soon as you can because it’s game changing. Thank you Emma and Dr. Tolley. We are actually excited to see you next time.

Our daughter’s surgery went very well, and we had a great experience overall. The staff was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our stay. Dr. Choo and Dr. Paisley were amazing, as always. There were plenty of activities to keep her busy during our overnight stay, and everything we could have possibly needed was available to us. We’re so grateful for the care we received!
