I have been a patient of Dr Young since 2016, I have three major surgeries countless MRI's and Back Injections since then.Dr Young Retired back in 24, I started seening a new Dr but he left for Virginia Beach at the start of 2025. I tried to make a new appointment about 2 months ago and was told that because of only one Dr there now, there are not taking any new paitients at this time, I told them I wasn't new, but they would not see me period, the office Manager even talking to him twice, never got back to me, this is very UNPROFESSIONAL, I will never go back, I have found a new DR at UVA, I would not recommend Marthra Jefferson to anyone.
Dr. Mark Mason is absolutely condescending. I would not recommend this doctor at all. Claimed I had a different condition than something 4 other neurologists have diagnosed me with since I was a child and when I asked him to explain why, he acted like I had offended him for just asking him a question and said he would refuse to run any tests on me, because he didn’t think I needed them. To that, I stated that less than 2 years before he had told me I absolutely needed a spinal tap for the same symptoms and that he had strongly went against my refusal. He basically refused treatment of me for simply asking a question that he felt insulted his intelligence and walked out of the room when I was nothing but professional. I would not recommend him for any patient, this is very dangerous of a doctor to act like that.
Dr. Jensen and Dr. Gaughen are more than Doctors, they are people who are truly concerned about you as an individual.
