PLEASE BE CAREFUL AT THIS PRACTICE I would avoid this doctor's office. While the lawyers say I can't tell you the name of the doctor who screwed up, I can tell you that Dr. McNabb and Dr. Mitchell are absolutely wonderful. Back in August I had a new doctor as I was sitting in the waiting room 2 minutes before my appointment time I saw the doctor walk into the office. Let that sink in. I was there 15 minutes early. My doctor was there 2 minutes before my appointment time. As we went through the appointment he did not read my chart. Didn't know anything about me kept asking the same question over and over again. But the biggest thing is he started me on insulin and refused to tell me the dosage. When I say refused I literally asked him two different times. How much do I need to take and how frequently and his response was and I quote "read the instructions". When I went to make the complaint I talked to Natalie and then was forwarded to Sydney. I was told I would be contacted and I wasn't. I had to contact them again and then Sydney asked if I would like to go see a different doctor. I told her I would think about it. Few weeks later when I went to go make an appointment I was told that I was no longer allowed to be at this office which is an absolute contradiction to what Sydney said. Sydney is a liar. She flat out lied. At this point I am at a different doctor's office, but this is a caution. Some of the doctors are absolutely wonderful like McNab and Mitchell. And again I can't tell you the name of the horrible horrible doctor that saw me for legal reasons. Just be careful.
The office is easily accessed. Staff warm and friendly. Nurse is a little quiet, but she's busy with your blood pressure. Dr. Boda is a warm informed, and caring person. IDK what we'll do when he retires.
I've had the pleasure of interacting with Nicole, the on-site phlebotomist, who is truly an expert in her field. Her professionalism and skillset are unmatched in any facility or hospital I've visited. Dr. Sweeny and Dr. Boda have been exceptional primary care physicians, providing outstanding care and attention to patient requests and exams. They've consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare. While I did experience some scheduling issues in the past, they've since been resolved. The implementation of call recording is a great example of their dedication to professionalism, security, and customer service. I feel perhaps the John Knox (nursing home) community next door is rinse and repeat for the staff, based upon incognitive decision making abilities. Making anyone who questions there own health or practice procedures a bit of a pain for the staff.
I'd been going here for years under the care of Dr. Gibbs, who took a personal interest. He moved to a geriatric facility, and since there the care I've gotten has been crap. Dr. Ariswali took over, who is still a resident. He ordered things previously, and Dr. Gibbs would tell him it wasn't necessary. He's doing his own version of care which is awful. Reducing or refusing to refill long term medication, and ordering unnecessary tests. It takes at least 3 days and multiple phone calls to get answers on prescriptions. I was hospitalized in August and had several blood tests done before they called me about my test results from June. I'm just a cog in the wheel there with no input I give being taken account. Between the lack of truly patient centered care and the terrible customer service issues, I'm now looking for a new pcp. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Such a shame after being a very satisfied patien for so many years!
Incredibly disappointed with this doctor's office. I signed up for new primary Care the doctor was wonderful the lab technician was wonderful but I left a voicemail every single day for the last 4 days and no one returns my phone calls. I simply called to ask what the results of my tests that were done 2 weeks ago are. Already looking for a new primary Care not enough communication or support but the doctor himself was wonderful.
