I went in for a Stat EKG for chest pain and at home still with chest pain waiting for the results to know what is going on. The person who did the EKG was nice. But I am glad I haven't died yet!

The people are nice, but my frustration came from lack of connection between the "my chart" and the immediate staff, on location, saying to me that "the questionnaire online " can't be seen by them, the staff, meaning I had to fill out the same paperwork again!!! They were frustrated too!!! Also, the headphones given to me were so bad that it was like listening to the radio with a very bad reception, not understanding a word being said! Only one of the ear pieces worked and that is an exaggeration... Is tormenting using them... Put one of people in there and you will see for yourself... Needless to say, I had to have the music removed and wear earplugs instead! Overall, I survived two MRI'S and the young lady who got it done was very polite and considerate! Thank you for listening! Had great experience with Avita Galion ER. I have dealt with chronic health issues for over 10 years now and I don’t always get great treatment from healthcare. All the nurses, aides and techs were very kind and respectful. Dr. Pay was very patient and thorough. He took the time to LISTEN and treated me like a human being. Thank you everyone who had a part in my care. ❤️ God bless you all!

I was referred to Dr Shin,ENT, via my new endocrinologist for a parathyroidectomy that took place very quickly after my initial consult with Dr Shin. This was my very first experience with Avita Health systems so I wasnt sure what to expect. Dr Shin's staff, specifically Julie and Landon, were superb in ensuring all pre-op testing was scheduled and organized so efficiently while also showing such great care with a personal touch! I had my surgery at Avita Galion hospital on 10/31/2025 and they were so on the ball, easy flowing with no delays, it was obvious they had their stuff together and it showed in the care they provided. Dr Shin was so easy to talk to, took the time to answer questions honestly and ease any concerns I had. Although my procedure took longer than anticipated,I truly felt that I was given the best care possible to ensure I was stable before finally discharging home. I can't express enough how thankful and appreciative I am to everyone on my care team from Dr Shin to the floor nurses (Natalie, Jacie, Kodin, Brianna) nurse managers (Sarah R in ICU and Amanda in med/ surg, hospitalists and extra special mention as well to Lauren and Laura in speech therapy, I couldn't have asked for more! You've earned my trust and my heart! It's a great thing to be able to go to a small town hospital and get the high quality of care usually known for bigger city hospitals! Thank you again! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can’t say enough for the staff and ER Dr last night on 10/26/2025. My mom came in with low vitals. Staff had my mom comfortable in great time. In no time they had figured out what was causing her problems. She started improving within the hour or two. So thankful for everyone working yesterday. Very good doctors and nurse’s. I highly recommend this nice looking hospital and its great staff.
