I saw a guy there and was told I had a neurological issue. I asked the dr to consider the medication I was taking. He explained that my current meds couldn't have made me sick. So upon seeing that one of my meds had a side affect of neurological issues I stopped taking it. The Dr. told me I was healed and demanded 500.00. When I refused to pay him due to his negligence, he sued me. The attorneys he used told me the day before I was going to go to court that it had been canceled so I was a no show and they won by default. I would never recommend this place even if they were the last place on earth unless you want the same thing to possibly happen to you.
Sure, Dr. Cristia was kind and passionate. He was understanding and gave me a side hug to reassure me everything was okay. That said, im giving 3 stars, because he also completely dismissed my concerns. He wouldn't even let me fully explain what my symptoms are. And just kept telling me to get on anxiety medication. Told me nothing was wrong with me. But also wanted me to get a full MRI. And said on a whim, oh maybe its MS? After spending 30 minutes saying its all in my head and that its mental problems. And not any physical problems. Also, the woman who schedules the MRI's was very rude to me over the phone on a couple different occasions. And they pushed my follow up appointment back and entire month because they are way behind. Needless to say, I did not get an MRI. I saw a difference neurologist at Northwestern in Chicago who was amazing. Turns out I have Functional Neurological Disorder. Not MS and no MRI needed. Yes, that's a mental issue. But Dr. Cristia would have and did definitely misdiagnosed me.
Dr. Anderson truly listened to your complaints about pain. She kept eye contact and answered you directly. A true professional. Highly recommend Dr. Anderson.
This place only getting 4 stars because of the EMG TECH Dawn. She was professional and courteous. Dr. Cristea who did my nerve testing with the needle, he inserted the needle in different places in my foot, and ankle, it was extremely painful, the 5th time I yelled out , I asked him how many more times do he need to do it, his answer was 2-3 , because of me yelling out in pain he decided to stop with the testing, not me. My insurance will pay him for a test done, when he in fact was the one who decided to stop. He quickly exited the room, saying he would send the results to my referring physician. I heard him talk into a recorder saying he couldn’t finish the test because of me, no he made the decision to stop the testing. If a patient yelling out is a bother, then….why bother with the profession he’s in. He left the room quickly without giving me a chance to ask any questions. He needs to be more compassionate about his patients. After all, he is digging a needle into their skin, which is quite painful and frankly, I will never go back to him. My referring physician ( Dr. Ruter) is great, but this doctor ( Dr. Cristea) not so professional. But I’m sure my insurance will be billed for a half done test.
I have seen Dr. Cristea for long Covid and my husband saw Dr.Jennifer Pallone related to a brain injury and age related neurological anomalies. Both were excellent. My husband’s experience was life changing in that he had horrible hallucinations for over a year. She diagnosed him right away and got him on medicine that totally did away with the hallucinations. I also had a sleep study and cpap through their office. I was very pleased with all the services I received.
