I saw Dr. Metz for a major vertigo issue and was referred to Hearing and Balance Specialists of KC. A totally incompetent and fraudulent balance testing company who overcharged me and failed to help me whatsoever. The fact that Midwest Ear Nose and Throat would associate with such a shoddy organization tells me everything I need to know about them. Avoid at all costs.
Went in to talk about recent allergy concerns and was taken for a hearing and speech recognition test for whatever reason without being told it would cost $150 dollars out of pocket. When I did finally talk to the doc he made sure to make me feel really silly for even coming in, then prescribed me two prescriptions that also did nothing to help with my symptoms. This place feels like the epitome of the American healthcare money grab at its finest.
Dr. Hill is great and his nurse is fantastic and super sweet. They provide the humanity sometimes we lack in other medical spaces. Highly recommend.
