We were seen very quickly. All staff was super friendly and we were in and out within 15 minutes.
Went in for flu like symptoms for the past 4 days. Assessed and informed of an ear infection. I informed them I was allergic to penicillin with anaphylaxis reaction. Wanted to prescribe penicillin, and I reiterate that I can not take it. Suggested amoxacillin. Again, I said I couldn't take that. Would not prescribe anything else. I would be careful and advocate for your safety.
I’ve done a walk in to the clinic twice now and have been able to see a doctor quickly. The staff and the nurses are extremely nice and very helpful! There was plenty of parking and plenty of seating in the lobby! Absolutely everything about my visit was wonderful except the doctor that I had to see… She wouldn’t listen to what I had to say, and had to make sure that she was right… Which is why I had to go back a second time and I’m now going to see my regular doctor because she didn’t help me enough.
I would not recommend using urgent care clinic. They are very nice but they sent me to the Emergency Room to do a simple x-ray on non-emergency injury. This means you are back to ER waiting for hours because you are not an emergency patient (the entire point of having urgent care is to avoid wasting resources at the ER). Never got the x-ray, still have to go to Lawrence or Olathe to get medical care. Don't waste time. As always, Lawrence or Johnson County is just 30 minutes away and have competent medical care.
Being able to get into see the pediatrician same day, is so wonderful. The staff, especially Nurse Kaleigh and Dr. Koster, are always so wonderful and helpful. They cheer on my kids during their well visits, are always available to answer questions, are quick with med refills, I get an appointment summary right after I leave, and we always leave happy!
