I truly cannot say enough good things about your facility from the e. R to all the testing, my time in my room on 3rd floor and all the people on the 3rd floor were amazing. The food is amazing as well. It's very good. I think anybody that comes to Northwest health for any health issues is coming to a first class business. I am proud to be from Laporte and proud to Be able to come to a facility where you're treated so well and you come out with answers, and then they give you your follow-ups and everything you need.Everybody was wonderful , thank you so very much.

On Friday 11/14, my husband was rushed by ambulance to Northwest Health La Porte for severe respiratory distress. This was one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. The moment we arrived at the hospital it was deemed that my husband was sepsis. Our ED nurse, Lana, was outstanding. She got his treatment started immediately and made sure he was as comfortable as possible. Once he was settled, family was allowed back to visit. Lana was so comforting and informative during our time in the ED. My husband was admitted that night. Our nurse upon arriving on the 3rd floor, Stephanie, was also great. She was welcoming and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed for the night. The doctor on the 3rd floor came in and explained the full diagnosis and next steps. I cannot remember his name, but he was fantastic. Our daytime nurse, Ashley was incredible. She made sure my husband's pain from the pneumonia was well managed and made sure he and I both had all we needed. She was informative and friendly which helped our stay be as good as a hospital stay can be. Our night 2 nurse, Chris, was also great. Our NAs during our stay were kind, helpful, and thorough when doing vitals. Dr. Alnesar was so compassionate. You could immediately tell that he wanted to ensure my husband was well cared for with his treatment plan. He didn't rush or seem frustrated when we asked questions. He listened to our concerns with care and patience. We can't thank all of the staff enough for ensuring my husband made it and got everything he needed to recover and rest.

I had an ultrasound done earlier this week. Staff were all efficient and pleasant, but it was Alex, the ultrasound tech that was awesome!! The test took about an hour and a half, but Alex made the time fly. He put me at ease right off the bat with his gentle manner. He was respectful, courteous, and explained everything as the test proceeded. Spending time with Alex was like meeting up with an old friend you haven’t seen in awhile and can’t wait to see again! Thank you Alex. I wish you great things!!!

My husband was brought to the ER with chest pain and shortness of breath. As soon as he arrived and told them what was going on the staff at Laporte was right on it! They got him back to a room within 2 minutes and had him hooked to an ekg. As soon as they saw an abnormal ekg they said they were admitting him! They ran lots of tests and he failed a stress test so he was scheduled for an angiogram where he ended up have 3 stents placed. Every nurse, nursing assistant, and Dr that saw my husband was wonderful and kind! We don’t have any complaints! Everyone was very friendly and patient with our children and grandchildren that came to visit my husband! Even the cafeteria would call to make sure he wanted his meals if he didn’t call down by a certain time. It was a wonderful experience during a very scary situation and I’m so thankful that I chose to drive to Laporte instead of another hospital! I highly recommend Northwest health in Laporte!
