I had an excellent experience with Vital Care Family Practice. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive. The office was well-organized, and the check-in process was smooth. My new primary care provider, Naya Nicholson and her two assistants Neeko and Martha were great in assisting her with my needs. My provider took the time to listen, addressed all of my concerns thoroughly, and made me feel comfortable and respected throughout the visit. It is refreshing to receive care from a practice that is both knowledgeable and genuinely compassionate. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a primary care provider who truly values their patients.

Mixed feelings on this practice PROS online refill requests, and messaging with your doctor without having to necessarily schedule a followup, good health portal. The on-site Office operates very efficiently They have the rarity of a Labcorp on-site that can fill orders while you are there. With most practices, they offload their burden on you to drive across town to get blood drawn. This Vitalcare location does not do that. CONS Its an established practice, but feels more like an urgent care because of turnover. Calling them involves a central call center and frequently excessive wait times for scheduling etc. The turnover in doctors seems constant. I have to break in a new doctor every few months. I get the sense that brand new doctors take jobs with Vitalcare to get experience and leave shortly thereafter. All of my doctors have been very young. I’ve been with Vitalcare for 2 years. My first doctor left and was replaced by a Nurse Practitioner, who was then replaced by a 3rd doctor. I think the practice is more concerned with profits than patients. They try to schedule my routine visits more frequently than I feel is needed, every 3 months or 6 months, when every year would probably be ok unless I am ill or conditions change. They also try to multiply your billing by offloading your diet to a separate dietitian and trying to sell their sleep care to you. They also tend to write short prescriptions. I am taking very basic common meds, so a year prescription would make sense and if I don’t end up needing the meds that long, I’ll just stop filling the prescription but having to come back every 3 months to ask for more can increase the number of visits and costs and just turns into a hassle. The drive for profits, growth, and efficiency seem to have de-prioritized the humanity of medicine. The care for the last 2 years has been pretty good, but all the hassles have me looking for another practice.

This practice was good at the beginning, but now it has the worst practice or policies. 1) If you are sick they don't have same day appointments available or at least same week and the first available appointment they are going to offer is in 3 months, which doesn't make sent to have a sick appointment in 3 months. 2) Nurses or staff called and the message they left is "please call me back" (even if you have given the permission of leave a detail message) when you call back the call center is " I would send a message and they will call you back" this turns out in a game because is a back and forth call or you have to keep you phone on your hand for 2 day because you don't know when they're going to call. 3) If you call and are lucky enough to speak with the receptionist and no to the call center, you're not going to get an answer to simple question that any receptionist should know, they have to asked to someone else. So good luck with the practice.

The providers I have seen here have delivered superior care compared to my previous experiences, recommending treatments that my former providers did not, which has notably improved my quality of life. They are knowledgeable and always take the time to explain their recommendations and the reasons behind them. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained. Additionally, I've never encountered any billing mistakes, and they work with my insurance to ensure bills are covered. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking high-quality care in a great environment.
