I hate to leave such a bad review, because I was a patient of Dr. Curlee’s for nearly 15 years. He was the best! He retired earlier this year, and I got stuck with Madison Vick, a nurse practitioner, for my last appointment. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Madison came into the exam room with a chip on her shoulder, and a REALLY bad attitude. Her bedside manner is HORRIBLE! She didn’t even look over my file. She complained that my insurance company had been sending them nastygrams about the medications I am on - because I am recovering from lumbar fusion surgery - and she flat out said, “I’m not refilling your Lunesta”, which is a medication Dr. Curlee put me on in 2011. I can’t tolerate other sleep meds. Then she changed the pressures to stupidly high numbers on my CPAP, pressures I am unable to tolerate because too high of pressure wakes me out of my sleep. I didn’t consent to having my pressures changed. She just did it. I had to change them back manually myself. She has no idea what she is doing. I can’t say how I really feel about her without a long profanity-filled rant. I will say this woman should not be allowed to practice medicine. This woman will be moving to Sleep Medicine Consultants on Balcones Dr. in NW Austin. Avoid switching to Sleep Medicine Consultants, when Georgetown Sleep Center closes for good on December 19, 2025.

This place is horrible. If you have insurance make sure its not market place as they won't accept it. Also, if you ask how much the visit is, because you have to pay out of pocket, its any place between $60-200. This shows that these doctors are all about greed and not the patients. Most patients are older so you know they are making it up with medicare, but because the reimbursement rate is not enough for them they won't take anyone who gets insurance through marketplace. I'm self employed so I can only get it through there.

I had a budget of $1,800 which they were aware of. I’ve spent well over 8,509 and haven’t seen any improvements. The facility is nice and clean with some friendly staff. I suggest being more clear about price ranges and customer expectations. I have no problem paying what I did if I had any positive results. Please be clear with the price variance for future patients. I found it frustrating waiting 4 months to finally start the two sleep studies and follow up appointments and not have any improvement especially after being promised this. Overall, I’m very disappointed with my results and expectations based off my experience with Georgetown Sleep Center.

I had a sleep study performed on site @ Georgetown Sleep Center . Insurance was verified all cost was covered . The sleep study was performed at he the center and I left next morning . Pleasant professional great bed by the way all went well . The cpap machine was ordered with all supplies necessary to help you sleep . Set up the machine at home and for years now I have been sleeping with the machine at my bedside . If you are going to fight the machine find reason not to use it probably not going to work for you . Take time work out the bugs and you will get the best sleep of your life . Thanks to the staff and the doctor who assisted my wife and I with our sleeping machines . Have a great day . Sleep well my friend .

This place is the worst. First, I come in for the consultation and Dr. Lin was very dry with a terrible bedside manner. Was told I needed a sleep study. I scheduled the study for June 18th, in house, which was more than a month out. I get it, sometimes it takes time to get an appointment. I was told my insurance would cover it. NOPE. $770. Ok. Cool. I need the study, no big deal. I called to cancel the appointment today because I got a text saying to call if I need to cancel, and I did because something important came up that I cannot miss. I was “greeted” on the phone by someone with “Hello”. There was no identification of the person or place answering the phone. I told the woman that I needed to cancel my appointment and would reschedule as soon as I could. She very rudely stated “well, there is a $250 dollar fee for canceling since I didn’t cancel by LAST Friday”. I explained that I had been out of the country and this was the first opportunity I had to call. She put me on hold for about 10 seconds, came back and said, “yeah… that doesn’t matter! You’re still getting charged. I talked to my supervisor.” I told her not to bother sending it and if they want it they could see me in court. I gave MORE than 48 hour notice, and was NEVER told when scheduled when it had to be cancelled by or that there would be a fee. This place just wants your money. Don’t waste your time or money here. Trust me. Not worth it. Go somewhere else. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.
