The responsible person(s) need to include online that the nurses are unavailable from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm for lunch. Doctors and staff are phenomenal.
Dr. Castaneda is amazing! I love seeing him and he’s very great at taking his time to listen to you. However, his office staff is just awful to deal with. Front office and billing department are incredibly rude and unprofessional, they always talk to you as if you’re stupid. Their medical staff is incredible and has so much more potential if it weren’t for their clerical staff.
We were on call with Dr Sandigo’s nurse Sandy. We were scheduling an extremely important Biopsy as ordered by Dr Sandigo. We had gotten a call and the call dropped, no big deal right? We waited for her call for 5 minutes. Nothing, so we took to calling her directly following all the annoying phone prompts. She never picked up. We left her a message, Mind you this was in the morning and she was never available for the times we called her. She never returned our messages. But the issues don’t end there. The nurses never pick up any day we call, despite the urgency required for this matter. Honestly, do NOT come here or switch your primary doctor if you have Sandigo’s nurses. We urgently needed this procedure done because it’s time sensitive. It goes to show how much they care about their patients. And it hurts to write this because Dr Sandigo delivered ME! He was my childhood doctor up until now. It’s not HIS fault his nurses are quacks but it directly affected us negatively. Now we have to wait until after labor day to see if my wife has cancer or not.
Dr. C is AWESOME! After 3 trips to the ER over the weekend and being sent home with a morphine shot each time, went in to "follow up" with him and he sent me straight over to the ER with the CORRECT ORDERS! While on the operating table my gallbladder spewed with gallstones, just as he suspected. Thanks to him, it wasn't any worse than it ACTUALLY WAS.
Left messages for 4 days trying to get a call back about a medication side effect I was experiencing. No return calls and ended up in the ER. The ER doctors couldn't understand why I was even on this medication. The whole staff is dangerous. They tell you to leave messages for staff that doesn't even work there. You can't get and answer to any questions especially if your having a medical issue. Your better off going to a Vetrenarian.
