Hospital care is excellent. I’ve never had an issue. However, the billing department is horrible and rude. So far I have had 2 different experiences where they’ve left me baffled by their rudeness. The first call the woman didn’t tell me why she was calling, she had an attitude when I asked then dove into asking me my card info. She was so horrible I thought she was a scammer and refused to give my card info and told her I will look and pay online on the website. Second time the woman hung up on me mid sentence. Whoever is training these people needs to be fired immediately.

I wish I could remember the nurses name who helped me through a difficult night Caring for someone who has health issues while also having your own health issues can be challenging We are in and out of doctors trying to fix our issues and you never know who you may come across. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes bad but the good makes up for it. Me and my husband appreciate the good care and compassion. He was taken care of and again the nurse was able to help me out as well that night. I thought everyone was friendly too.

Had a minor surgery done. Everyone was friendly from little lady at the “front entry” surgery desk to my nurse Nicole. She kept my mind at ease and was very enjoyable to talk with. She even brought everyone donuts that day and said I could have one when I was done! Dr. Bielefeld and the surgical team were all comforting and knowledgeable. Thank you for making my 1st surgery in over 20 years easy.

I can’t say enough good about the entire staff that took care of me during a heart stress test. The entire staff made me feel like a family member. It my experience this is very rare. They went out of their way to help me with positioning me, I have a terrible back. The entire staff made the entire experience very pleasant. I wish I could say something better but say you folks are simply the BEST.

L&D team are absolute superstars! So incredibly thankful to them for being genuine and supportive throughout everything. From birth, to aftercare/overnights, breastfeeding, and carseat checks- all without judgement. The pediatrics team was very helpful too. Separately, my husband has also gone to Wood County Hospital for allergist appointments and has always had good things to say. Overall, great hospital and healthcare team!
