Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals Sleep Medicine

I definitely do not recommend this office or providers. I came to Corewell because I had a terrible experience at Detroit Childrens. We started with Dr. Patel who was soon to be off on maternity leave. She promised we would not be in the same situation with them as we were Detroit Childrens. We we introduced to Cass, Dr. Patels fillin. She scheduled some important sleep testing. Gave us incorrect instructions. We had to have another sleep test done 3 months later. Cass scheduled that and gave us incorrect instructions from day one. I reached out 7 days prior to the study to get better clarity. Was told to discontinue medication that is taken to keep my child awake and alert. The test was to test his alertness. She has me discontinue the medication 7 days prior to testing. She even sent orders for them to the sleep study to reiterate DO NOT TAKE MEDICATIONS. Morning times come and the nurse says we can't do the study because he has not had the meds that the doctor who ordered the test said to stop. I reach out to the office to be told there is no doctor for 3 weeks to speak to. How do you run an office without a provider for 3 to 4 weeks. No onw from the office called me the day of or even the next day. It took me to file a complaint, just for an office manager to call me and finally apologize. They dont care I missed 2 full days of work and money. Let me be the one who messed up the test, I will still be charged.

Definitely double check and verify that they have your correct insurance information after making copies of your insurance card - I have a $456 bill that has not been billed to my insurance 2 months after the service date because they typed in my information wrong twice.

I saw Dr. Bozyk at this office and he was really great. Took a lot of time explaining things, making my medication as best as possible for me and was really nice. The front desk staff was really busy and one of them was being yelled at by a woman that came in without an appointment, but they were still respectful and polite. They were very nice to me despite being crazy busy. The staff also called me back with follow ups and reminders. I’m not sure of the name of the nurse in the testing center, but she was really great, super nice and just a wonderful person.

Was in the office for a follow up to my sleep study a few months ago. They didn't have my results for whatever reason. They said they'd get the records, review them, and then call me. Never got a call. I can never get ahold of anyone there. I've left three messages on their machine and never get a return call. At this point, I've done the visits, completed the studies, and dont have results yet paid for everything. Very frustrating.

Impossible to make an appointment!!!! Dr was nice first appt but can't get in to see him again! I've been trying for over 2 weeks.
