I had a broken femur and backbone. My surgery was completely painless and the attending nurses and physical therapists were not only helpful but they expressed words of encouragement. That not only supported me but encouraged me to "go for it". It made me feel less of bother to everyone. Now I must deal with recovery. I still put my pants on one leg at a time.
I filed a grievance about how my teenage son was handled at the emergency department by the security one of their public safety officers , officer Williams during trying to restrain my son was pulling his hair and put his fist in his eye and I never received any information about my grievance. This isn't my first time filing a complaint in regards to this facility my first one was when I miscarried and they let me bleed out right in front of everybody in the waiting room and I was there for over 7 hours and by the time I left at at 6:00 in the morning the blood that was leaking from my body was still on the floor in the waiting room that never got cleaned up. If you want to get treatment you're better off going elsewhere or else you will be waiting for help for at least 12 hours before you get seen here
Do not deserve any stars at all but had to or couldn't leave a review. Nurses are worried about other stuff going on and NOT the patient. Very very poor communication to absolutely none. Absolutely rude and inconsiderate especially on the 7th floor. 4 tower has amazing nurses and should train others to be kind and have respect. If you live hours out of town they could care less where you stay as long as it's not in this dirty hospital
Looking at other reviews, I was shocked, because I was treated well and was given top notch care. I arrived in an unconscious, altered state, and they had all ready ran several tests and scans. I met with several attentive physicians and nurses that surpassed my expectations. When I was brought up to the observation unit, I was visited by 15-20 clinical staff, from nurse practitioners, physician assistants, to MDs. At one point I had 6 staff with neurology come into my room to make sure everything is okay and baseline. One nurse on that unit in particular is Kelly L. She is beyond fantastic and caring. She is prompt, and doesn’t keep you waiting. Her personality is warm and gentle, and I will be going out of my way to contact the hospital personally to let them know. Thank you, Kelly!!
To say this hospital should be shut down would be an understatement. If you are planning on having a surgery there, please don't. The recovery rooms are filthy and the recovery rooms are that filthy I can only imagine how the surgical room looks. We almost lost our father and if it wasn't for us who advocated and were on top of everything including telling the doctors(in training) what to do we probably would have lost him. Honestly, if you know whats good for you, don't come here. Yes, we are filing a report with the state.
