Sleep Disorders Service and Research Center

I haven’t even made it to them in person. I had such a terrible experience with the person that called me back today, a man - (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) that I will never be coming back to this clinic. I was told in no uncertain terms that because I missed my appointment to pick up a home test, I will be charged $50. I was told that I only got one text message when I initially scheduled the appointment, 3 weeks ago, and they do not send any reminders. To me this seems like scheme to collect money. The man went on let me know that all other medical services charge no show fees. Except before I could tell him, that those medical facilities that he mentioned also send 3-4 reminders prior to the actual appointment. I work in one such medical facility. My complaint is not the fee, my complaint is this man’s rude behavior and the fact that he hung up on me. Most unprofessional and rude behavior and I will be definitely taking my business elsewhere. I have a high deductible insurance plan and would have had to pay out of pocket anyway. So I am not tied to this sleep center!

Avoid this place like the plague.

I had 2 sleep studies there. They did everything perfectly.
