Doctor told me to "embrace my natural sleep cycle" and didn't offer any treatment after I complained of severe sleep problems. Went to another hospital and found out I had sleep apnea. 🤡

I came here to get a sleep study, due to a referral by my doctor. I wanted to have it done in the hospital, but i didn’t. They made me take a watch thing to strap onto my wrist, finger, and between clavicle bones. At home sleep studies are less accurate. I did not want this but they wouldn’t let me do a in hospital one. I’m still suffering from something, but I won’t know because the doctors here didn’t give me better options. Save yourself and your insurances money and go someone where else!

Oak Park location: waited 2 months for a consultation (my PCP gave me an order for a sleep study). Take half a day (unpaid) off from work to meet with a therapist who asked me a ton of questions about my sleep history, medical issues, etc. After all that she says I need to schedule a 2nd appointment for a consultation, not a sleep study. The next appointment is another 2 months away to talk some more. She proceeds to tell the receptionist in front of the entire waiting area that I need an appointment for sleep apnea. That’s a HIPAA violation and absolutely embarrassing. I ask for the number of the office manager and get a business card with someone else’s info and the name Antonia written on it. I call and left a message but, not surprisingly, never heard back. An absolute waste of time and money. I expected so much more from RUSH.

Nearly every prescription request is bungled in some way. I've lost track of how many times it has taken over a week for a long-term prescription to be refilled. The doctors are seemingly perpetually out of reach, and it takes calling the office daily to get something done. I have never experienced such difficulties with any other medical office I've encountered. Dealing with this office is like pulling teeth.

Very nice place! Easy to get around if your in a wheelchair or use a walker!! Everyone was very friendly! Dr. Wilkin was very nice. Took time to talk about the Sleep Center. He's professional but really care about your health!! Answered all my questions and was very pleased to have met him! I set up my appointment and by doing so I am hoping he will get good results from sleep study!
