I had a great experience with Virginia Neurology and Sleep Center in Suffolk! The ladies in the office were very nice and the doctors/nurse practitioners are very informative and easy to talk to! Highly recommend!

This is the condition of the room I was placed in for an overnight sleep study. Not only are they unfriendly , this room is dangerous to sleep in! Mold- mildew- black mold all over the ceiling! The bathroom vent made clanging noises all night- I was told to just shut the door so I wouldn’t hear it … clearly needs to be shut down!

FIRST OFF this office should receive zero stars. I drove an hour hoping to find relief from feeling like a zombie daily and brain fog from watching every hour on the clock tic by nightly as I try to sleep in my own cozy bed. I don’t take naps, have 8 oz of coffee in the morning and then 2L of water throughout the day. I work out 5 days out of the week and walk my neighborhood just to try to help myself attempt to get tired all while raising elementary age school kids. No sugary foods and a healthy diet. I’ve tried all of the natural things on the market in hopes something would work and nothing did. I was sent home with a piece of paper to read on how to get to sleep and stay asleep. I could have tried this concept of reading an article online or a book. There was no medication to help me sleep given and the doctor was a joke. . Don’t waste your time. A five - seven minute conversation with a doctor who is supposed to be compassionate, listen to his patients and find a proper solution just walked in sat down, didn’t listen to me as if he was in a rush & gave me a paper he had already walked in with, without even knowing my situation, set his mind on giving me the paper and booted me out the door before I could even explain family history, speak more than 5 words or even how many years I’ve been suffering from This. Brain health is extremely important!!! It’s especially important to me with altimeters as a family history. The one page paper from him was all I received and I was out the door in no time & without a follow up visit. He has absolutely NO compassion, completely wasted my time and after my appointment gladly took my copay of $50. This place needs to be closed down. Worst EVER.

I am a retired medical professional. The practice was unaware. I was treated in a manner I considered superb. All of my records had been reviewed prior to my visit. Timely, appropriate, knowledgeable and an outstanding history and exam. They are a great resource for neurologic problems.

I like the place so far. Hoping to get better sleep soon! Included pictures to show more of what to expect from the sleep study...
