I went there over 2½ years ago to do therapy. That way I could start see a back Dr again and start injection again since we're relocated. Therapy was one of the requirements pains management said I had to do. So I did that for 6 months and after completing my therapy and start injection. I call to make an appointment and all of a sudden they don't have any staffing or pain management Dr. Said they would notify me when they did. After about 3 months go by they sent a letter saying there still waiting on a Dr basically. Again in the letter they will notify me when this happens. It's well over a year later and I still haven't heard from them. Is this how they treat all there patients? I wasted so much time and effort going to therapy. Then at therapy they never billed me. Just the other day I received a bill from them for over $1000. Really your gonna bill me for something from over 2 years ago and never even followup the reason why I came to see you to being with. You guys really need to figure this out. The therapy didn't help that's why next step was pain management and then after 2 years and no followup call your gonna send me a bill. Someone needs to look into this. I feel sorry for the thousands of patients that you have a treat like this daily. They only other time I went to this hospital was to the ER. I put a hole in my hand with a #2 Phillips screw bit. Went between my thumb and pointer finger on palm side of hand while working on my house. Got there with a hole in my hand it was around 4 in afternoon. Sat in waiting room for about an hour and half. Finally go back and the Dr on duty had no idea what to do. He had to call around to other hospitals and other Dr. Then he had to come take pictures and send them to the other people he contacted. Then he came back in and to a widow so he could send that to them. Finally some lady came in to take xrays of my hand. Finally the Dr comes back in and says that he talked to local surgeon and this his what he recommend. So he takes 2 bottles of sterile water and squirts in the hole puts and bandaid and a hand brace over it and then says followup with this Dr on Monday. Remind you I went in on Saturday. I asked if I should do anything in the means time. ER. Dr says no just call the Dr's office on Monday. So I did. They didn't see me till Tuesday. So I left a bandaid over this hole and brace on for 3 days per ER and it was infected when got to see other Dr on Tuesday. I spent about 5 hours there for this issue. The ER wasn't even busy. I believe I went in during meal break and also the ER Dr had no clue of what he was doing. This place is so unprofessional. The patients are what keep the place going but if the service is bad people just don't go there. Again I feel sorry for the thousands of patients they treat like this daily. Drove by the other day and seen a food truck set up in the parking lot. What a joke. Don't have a cafeteria there? Also all the fast food right behind you and they allow a food truck to set up there right in the parking lot. Looks so unprofessional again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Care in the ER I came to the Coldwater ER after I had a small accident and I was truly impressed by the level of care I received. Dr. Moore and the nursing staff were incredibly kind, thorough, and professional. They took their time, ran all necessary tests and examinations, and made sure I felt safe and understood throughout my visit. I left feeling reassured and genuinely cared for. Thank you to everyone there — your compassion made a difficult day so much easier.

Dr. Ekblad is an EXCELLENT ER doctor. He was tactful, professional, and put me very much at ease. He completed a thorough workup and popped in more frequently than even the nursing staff to let me know where we were in the process despite the department being extremely busy. His communication was concise, and he possesses an excellent bedside manner. He also provided a clear recommendation how to effectively pursue follow-up after being stuck on the referral carousel with no notable results or improvement for the last decade. Magnificent doctor, magnificent care. I do hope this review is brought to his attention by administration and that they are aware of the gem of a physician that they have on staff. Again, thank you very much for your help!

Let me start by saying as a professional ER & Critical Care Technician with over 22 years experience working in all types of hospitals, from big major level one trauma teaching facilities, to inner city community hospitals, to rural/critical access hospitals this was one of the best ER patient experiences I have ever had! I am originally from Coldwater born and spent my childhood here with my family moving to Florida when I was a teenager, so it has probably been 27-28 years since I was last at Coldwater Hospital as a child. After all that time I come in and I’m still greeted and treated like family and neighbor! In fact my primary ER nurse was Liz who I went to elementary school with and we immediately remembered each other after almost 30 years! Moreover the patient care that I received far exceeded any and all expectations I ever had. Because my condition was unstable once they got me stabilized I was transferred by ambulance to Borgess Hospital in K-Zoo for high level of care! I can’t say enough thanks to the entire Emergency Department Team at CHC!!! You made this boy feel safe coming back home even in a medical emergency! Kudos and Thanks!!! Again huge THANK YOU Dr. Moore DO, FACOEP (Day ER Physician) Col. (Ret.) Dr. Ekblad DO, FACOE (Night ER Physician) Elizabeth “Liz” RN (former classmate and primary ER Nurse) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Jeremy Rasler CNA,CCMA,CCT-C,CRAT-C,EST-C,CES-A Certified Emergency Critical Care Technician

Took my friend there on labor day that had taken a hard fall. From the time we arrived at the ER we were met with a very compassionate staff. The nurses and house doctor were fantastic. The surgeon, Dr. Hartman was one of the best and most compassionate surgeon I have met. The hospital food was excellent also. Although I live 2 hours away. I would definitely consider traveling the 2 hours for my orthopedic needs to see Dr. Hartman and the wonderful staff.
