I'm very pleased with this office the first impression is the front desk who are super friendly and knowledgeable!! Then I met Dr Najjar who is also very kind and listens to his patients. I've been to many Drs and it's so refreshing to feel like I'm being heard :) the sleep clinic side has also been so accommodating!! I have NARCOLEPSY but my sleep studies never come out in my favor they had me come in earlier to try to get best most accurate reading I'm super grateful I find out soon my results but I'm super happy with my experience with everyone there .I look forward to my follow up with the Dr :) .thank you so much for listening!!! :)
Dr. Jazayerli has been amazing working with me to get treatment for my narcolepsy. He was flexible and even recommended another sleep doctor when I decided his office was too far for me to travel. His staff was very nice as well. The people who ran my sleep studies were professional and made sure I was comfortable during them.
Two stars only because reception and techs were a joy to interact with. I felt very let down and taken advantage of though as I once my insurance and I were charged a ridiculous amount for the “at home sleep study” and I said I wanted to explore treatments that didn’t include CPAP... (the only tool in the sleep medicine box apparently) I was basically on my own other than being told by the Doc that I can try a mouthpiece. No, discussion of follow ups, no referral to one who does the mouthpiece, no strategies, nothing. One of the least productive interactions I have ever had with a doctor. I hope other patients fare better.
Northshore has been extremely helpful as I navigate the strange world of sleep apnea, especially in dealing with my insurance (who isn't particularly keen on paying for some of these tests despite their necessity.) Wait times for equipment and tests can be frustrating , but the staff and doctors are always patient and helpful.
North Shore Sleep Medicine has changed my life. I feel 15 years younger and have energy! The doctors are excellent. The staff is so caring. The process is extremely patient friendly. The technicians have been so responsive and have helped me greatly with my C-Pap on the same day. They make it clear they want to help. I recommend them strongly! I am so glad I went to North Shote Sleep Medicine!
