Worst hospital ever. Sat over 4 hours with no tests performed, watched multiple patients walk out without being seen. I walked out as well. New manner of treatment is horrible. Have tests performed then wait in waiting room until maybe a doctor tells you the results. Very disappointed. Condell treats you better. Left with a reminder of my experience.

I was an emergency patient, and when I walked in, I wasn't treated like an emergency patient, I was treated like a deli meat customer. When I finally was brought back to the room, I was left alone for a long time. I had to ask if I was going to see a doctor. Then I got a bill, actually a few bills. I gave my insurance information to 2 different people and it never got added, so I got the full service bill. Thousands of dollars for 1 visit!! I had to call 3 different numbers to get it figured out. DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. A back alley doctor is way better.

Horrible experience. With the exception of a few nurses, nobody seemed to care about caring for the patient. Everyone was more concerned with coveraging their butts and "making a note in the chart", and directing you to another doctor because nobody wanted to be responsible for giving health advise and information to our family. WE had to point out what patient care was needed to the staff. WE had to request evaluations and PT. WE had to stay overnight to make sure my dad was safe. The nurses left my dad completely uncovered and exposed, left the room and door wide open, not once but twice. There were several women in the room who saw private parts. This was extremely embarrassing for my dad having his daughters and family friends see him half naked. The staff didn't even have to the decency to cover him with a blanket before leaving to get supplies they forgot. One night nurse even left the computer monitor logged on and left the room twice. I could have easily walked over and changed anything I wanted on their computer. Isn't this a huge HIPAA volition? They were quick to have their palliative care person talk to us prematurely. They saw an older man come in, figured he didn't have much time and immediately started talking about hospice care. They didn't even give the medicine a chance to work. There were many more things I could point out, but I think you get the idea. I've been in many hospital in my lifetime, but never have I seen such disrespect and lack of compassion and care for a patient. I especially love all the wonderful posters covering the hospital walls saying please care for our staff while we care for the patient. What care? I don't completely blame the nurses because the hospitals are understaffed. I just expected more being on the cardiac floor. If you have a choice, I recommend another hospital.

Room for improvement I can overlook that ER doctor did not introduce herself, I did not know I was speaking to one. Had back turned to me while speaking and staring at computer screen . Did not even look at me and just looked at the blood tests and asked why I am there I can overlook this attitude as expected in busy environment, everyone is in hurry , but to not even approach the bed seemed off to me . But then after being unplugged from IV to go to bathroom to provide urine sample by nurse, I was forgotten to be plugged in for a long time However main concern after many hours at er bed and being told I will be admitted to hospital , I was told that there is shortage of beds and that some people at er are waiting 3 days for bed to open up. I should be lucky if in maybe in couple hours, maybe longer I think that is excessive wait time , and answer is they don't know The nurses were ok , no nonsense no waste time personnel Overall ,it suggests to me that this hospital does not have enough staff and has room for improvement in many areas. Update My mother has passed 4 days ago, I had waited as to not be influenced by her death Please think twice about bringing your loved one to the hospital I dont expect the hospital to save everyone, however I expect that pain management is provided for dying person as to ease suffering . On the 19th of september while inpatient my mother was in terminal delirium and in pain and was not given paid medication or breathing treatment other than steroid and benadryl. I kept asking the nurse for the PA ,but there was no need for one for the oxygen was ok. Forward to the 20th, I come at 1):00 , my mother is thrashiand and moaning on bed , incoherent, no breathing treatment, no morphine. After attempts to see why her breathing is labored, PA Teresa came in at 11.20 , checked her chest and said its ok, oxygen ok. Forward, 2 hours my mother died of cardiac arrest. When finally I was seating with deceased parent in the roo, doctor came with the PA and said she had pneumonia, when she check her chest 2 hours ago , she did not have it. Also her sugar was at 16 , yes 16, hypoglicomia but it was not necessary to do that test, it was considered unnecessary. For someone under care of inhospital doctor oncologist when patient has not been eating, it is not necessary to do the test. But here is the main thing, which can be attested by 2 independent parties in the room. My mother has been decased for more that 2 hours , in comes endocrinologist doctor and talks to me and other people present about course of treatment and wants to give my mother a pill. Well ,she is dead for over 2 hours, the doctor did not even glanced at the person on bed, unhooked , definitely dead or my wet face. And if nothing else gets through people , because its a hearsay, then this will. Doctor shows up after death to treat her, pneumonia showed up unexpectedly. I know death can come unexpectedly , but you see suffering and you discount it, you cannot get a doctor to help when you see trashing and labored breathing. Please do not bring your loved there, not only will you suffered losing your loved one, but you cannot unsee the suffering. My mother was suffocating , and attending doctor could not be found, PA sees nothing But then please ladies and gentleman, the other doctor that comes after death and does not recognize situation just shows you the level of indifference and callousness and disregard for dignity of dying individual. the records are sealed too very promptly and conveniently for everyone. But with independent parties and videos of labored breathing prior to death , the truth will be there. If I can save one person from the grief of seeing my mother suffer , than its worth it that I wrote a very long post

The most modern, equipped and capable facility. Excellent and highest rated staff in suburbs. The empathy and love exhibited even from the cafeteria all the way to the valet parking attendant. The entire experience makes the family forget they are in a medical emergency but rather in a resort. I swear I actually was missing staff members when they'd leave and I felt like quickly we'd built up rapport and friendship within just the few hours they'd check on us. Even the way they all speak to each other, with respect. As a team. They help oneanothwer while even over-stretched at times with lots of emergencies going on, they maintained quality bedside care with us and all the patients. The security is also very high and the guest services ladies literally pull out colored full page maps and hand draw guided directions. The team that wheels guests with carts are all so kind and respectful. The doctors simply passing you in the hall all seem no stress and so calm! I love this place.
