I NJOYED MY VISIT WITH DR BARNETT..HE WAS KIND, CONSIDERATE, COMPASSIONATE & UNDERSTANDING TO MY NEEDS.
Avoid PCP, Amy Horowitz in Family Medicine. She wastes your time and money; lacks empathy in my care. Amy failed to take care of me by refusing to accurately complete FMLA documentation for two life-long diseases for which I suffered. They were sent via MyChart, she refused to complete them without an appointment. I scheduled the virtual appointment, we met and she reviewed the forms. I clearly stated that each condition needed to be on a separate form. She insisted that she would add them both. I informed her that my employer would not consider them 2 separate issues. She did it anyway. I messaged her requesting correction and she refused, citing I needed to be SEEN AGAIN. I filed a complaint with the Cleveland Clinic Ombudsman's Office, she gave them the same answer and I was told the matter was resolved. Mary in the Ombudsman's Office at Hillcrest was rude, lacked empathy, refused to provide any other path to resolution. Mary stated that she didn't ask any follow-up questions to Dr. Horowitz, nor did she advocate further for my patient rights. I will now have to fight with insurance, but escalate the issue at Cleveland Clinic and the Ohio Medical Board.
Don't get blood work here, they had me waiting 30 minutes calling people who got in after me, before me. Very slow only one person drawing blood.
The staff was very nice and it was literally an in and out visit for me. I was there for every bit of 10 minutes all together.
