I have had nothing but short tempered staff on the phone while I've been trying to get them to cancel a prior authorization through my insurance. The authorization nurse Jennifer Harris(I asked for her last name and she said and I quote "I'm done talking to you)". Then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Most of the ladies that work the front desk and Jennifer Harris doesn't have any customer service skills and we very rude to me while I'm trying everything in my power to get a sleep study done. I will definitely be filing a formal complaint through the company.
Stay clear of this place. The folks doing the study itself were nice and try to make you comfortable. There is absolutely nothing good to say about ANY of the other business areas. I reqeusted to see the DOCTOR, never did, scheduling appointment is atrocious. They are always late and cancel often. But if you cancel they charge you $50 bucks. Once I decided to cut all ties, they would not give me a copy of the prescription for my cpap supplies. That is a violation of the freedom of information act of 1974. They send your cpap supplies via mail and nine out of ten times there is either something missing or the wrong items sent. I have been told by my current sleep team that their sleep studies are inconclusive, provide terrible results and they are NOT recommended by real doctors.That means they put your health at risk and even more serious possibly you life. DO NOT GO THERE !
I was referred here by my PCP over a year ago & each visit has been great. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor etc. Everyone has been nice I’ve dealt with. I’ve never felt like I wasn’t heard & that’s extremely important to me. They listen to my concerns & explain things so I’ll understand. The care I’ve received has been great!
Please stay clear of this place. They took my money (>$100). Then they canceled my appointment and said the person had COVID, but they rescheduled it for 10 days later. When went to the rescheduled appointment, they wanted me to pay another $120+ dollars or no sleep study. So now I am left with trying to get a ride home because I had already paid to have transportation home in the morning. They are unorganized… rude as crap… and thieves! Please stay away!!!
Two stars because the technician I had for my sleep study (a middle aged man named George, I believe) was far and away the rudest, most unpleasant healthcare worker I've ever interacted with, to the degree that I'm shocked he's able to maintain employment. Just a warning that if you're a woman and would prefer a female tech, they will potentially ignore your request, like they did mine, instead of scheduling you with a tech of the same gender. The physician I met with (Lauren), nurses, and receptionists are all incredibly friendly, but unfortunately, I made literally zero progress towards diagnosis and treatment for my case of suspected narcolepsy/IH. I think you'll have better luck than me if you're just trying to get treated for sleep apnea. If you suspect you have any other sleep disorder, I would search for a different option.
