My mother has been seeing this doctor for about 6 months, initially it was fine. Dr. Patel was compassionate and we felt like she was getting good care. But soon after visit wait times started getting longer, front desk staff always seems bothered and appointments felt rushed once we were seen. Her last appointment took her over an hour past her appointment time to be called back and once we saw the doctor he rushed her visit. He mentioned to her that her breathing was more labored than usual and she told him she did not feel well. The only thing he said to her was “I wish I would have known, I would have work a mask but it’s too late now.” Which in turn made my mom apologize and feel bad for being sick at a doctors office. He never assessed her, never used a stethoscope, just talked about her medications and sent her on way. 3 days later she ended up in the hospital. Had he taken the time to properly assess her that may not have happened.
I really enjoy Juie when she calls she is very helpful and.polite. she always makes sure I take my oxygen readings.
The staff is miserable to work with. Dr. Patel is very friendly and knowledgeable but his staff is not. If I have to call for anything, I know to set at least 30-45 minutes aside because I will get transferred and placed on hold at least twice. Pick somewhere else.
Do not come here! This is the worst doctor he will not help you. Horrible staff and very difficult to work with. Reviews speak for themselves.
The doctor and staff are always professional and caring. They know what is needed and will take the time to listen to my concerns and act on them.
