Thank you to my care team with the Center for Sleep & Wake Disorders. I had a great visit today. and I deeply appreciate the coordination of my late completion of pre-visit forms so that I could maintain my scheduled appointment. The time and attention to my needs are appreciated ‼️

People should know this about this place !!!!! So I asked about temp control for over night study and here is the shocking reply I got: “Unfortunately building management controls the temp in the building. The heating/ac is turned off in the building after hours. We have minimal control over the temperature. However, we do try to do things to make pts more comfortable. Tower fans are available to cool rooms. Space heaters and blankets are available to make patients warmer. We are unable to guarantee a temperature range in room. During these months the rooms tend to be cooler due to no heat after hours and windows without coverings or insulation. " People with sleep disorders are often extremely sensitive to temps where they sleep. Can you imagine trying to sleep with just a fan in full summer lol? I’d be waking every few minutes. Have had this happen when we loose power in summer lol.

I have had a great experience at the Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders. NP Johnson has been so great to work with for diagnosis and the sleep technologist who has helped me with my mask fitting so patient and reassuring. I also like that they help you along the way they don’t just give you your machine and make you figure it out for yourself. I went from feeling like I could never ever do CPAP to this is something I can do!

A very professional and knowledgeable staff member reviewed my records and took a thorough current history. As a physician myself I appreciated how complete my follow up evaluation was conducted. This sleep center is outstanding. Ralph Gemelli MD

Danielle Mandir, my CS&W Disorders caregiver, is wonderful to work with. She is professional, very knowledgeable in her field, caring, and proactive in addressing my issues and concerns. The staff at the Center for Sleep & Wake Disorders are also very helpful, and respond quickly. You are always able to reach a person when you call. I have been a patient of this practice for over 8 years, and am very satisfied.
