I am extremely pleased with Dr. Rallo and his team at the eye center. We were running late and arrived 10 minutes past our appointment time, but they had no problem still seeing my son. My son has autism and struggles with medical testing and procedures, but both Dr. Rallo and Kelli (who did his visual acuity tests) were extremely patient and understanding. Dr. Rallo eased my worries about my son’s eye condition progressing and was very thorough and responsive to the questions I asked.

My son had to go in for dental work and they needed to sedate him because his autism doesn't allow him to be worked on like a normal child and they were amazing. All the nurses and Dr's who helped us were so patient and kind. I wouldn't want to take him anywhere else.

This is a scam! Don't come to this Young Athletic Center for any physical therapy. They charge $192 for 15 minutes!!! My son sprained his ankle and referred by his doctor to go there for PT five times each time lasted about one hour. The total bill is over $3000. $192 for 15 minutes. This means $768 an hour. Is this not a scam? Picture of the bill is attached.

Parking was quick and easy. As soon as we checked in, it was only a few minutes before we were called back to be seen. It was very easy to find the office where we needed to be. The dr was amazing with the kids and explained what I needed to do next. She had such great hospitality. I enjoyed being in her presence. Overall, the experience was amazing. The receptionist, when checking in, was nice till another lady who worked there walked up behind her being rude and talking to her disrespectfully right in front of everyone. I wanted to say something while I was there, but I had my 3 kids with me and decided not to. I wish I would have thought to get the name of the white lady instead of calling her a color, but the nice receptionist was brown, and I appreciate her kindness while helping us get checked. I felt defensive for her while watching the other lady talking to her like garbage. I wanted to stand up and tell her to knock it off, and I'm sorry that I didn't.

Please, please, please read the 1 star reviews before moving forward with any appointments or procedures with this place. I promise you that it will help you to avoid a substantial amount of frustration. We were referred here by our Wash U pediatrician and it has been one of the worst experiences that we've ever had with an outpatient hospital. After the initial evaluation we were told that our daughter would need 8 follow up visits with the PT, so we asked how much it would cost. They provided us with a sheet that said it may not be covered by our health insurance despite them being in-network and that we would need to call for pricing. This is a joke! I was told that you would have to get the pricing code from the PT office, then call their "pricing line", and then call your health insurance to find out your out of pocket expenses. We didn't. They bill late and by the month (probably on purpose), so by the time we realized that the out of pocket was $400 per 45 min appointment we were already almost done. The other (and most infuriating) part of this terrible experience was that our PT said our daughter was 95% better by the 2nd or 3rd visit. One would think that if this were the case, another 5 or 6 visits would seem unnecessary and you would just schedule a follow up or two further out to evaluate the progress. NOPE! They just wanted the money. This place preys on parents that want the best for their their kids, makes determining pricing as difficult as possible, and delays the bills to get as much as they can before you see the outrageous prices they charge. Do yourself a favor and ask your pediatrician for other options, if possible. If you do decide to go here, spend the hours to check the prices and make sure that you are clear with your PT/physician about unnecessary costs. BJC truly is the worst, these folks are crooks.
