Went Tuesday with my daughter who needed the sleep study. Nurse we had was not very friendly. Did not hold conversations very well. I tried talking with her but not much back from her. Room was not cozy at all like they claim. It was cold and not comfortable at all.

I hate sleeping in different places, but I feel like the process was straightforward and as comfortable as they could have made it. My tech, Ron, was really friendly! He explained everything he was doing while also holding a conversation with me. Very respectful of my space, as well. No complaints when I had to get up several times and had to be unhooked. Not really a hotel experience, but the least worst time i've had sleeping in hospital.

Cancelled my appointment with no notice and had to call the day before to find out. Turns out they don’t accept my insurance, which is fine, but maybe inform someone before you cancel. What a scummy way to operate, but we can’t expect much out of Sparrow. If I would’ve known I could’ve gotten an appointment elsewhere weeks ago to address a very serious health issue for me. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here if you have the option because they’ll drop you in a heartbeat with no notice if they don’t accept your insurance. I’ve never had a good experience with Sparrow. So much surprise billing because they’ll wait as long as possible in hopes you’ll lose insurance or change insurance.

My tech Ron was the best. The woman who answered the door said, "Step away from the door, oh good you are wearing a mask." The next guy who came up did not have a mask on and she took him right in with no inquiry. The experience was peaceful despite all of the cords. Ron explained everything that he was doing. He made me feel comfortable. While attaching the nodes to my head, I had a spaceship hotel experience, sort of. I fell asleep right away. I hope that I find something out.

The sleep techs were AWESOME and so happy to answer any and all questions. The rooms and beds were comfortable and I was so surprised that my experience was so great! Everyone always says how awful sleep studies but sparrow sleep center was wonderful. The results can take forever though, keep that in mind.
