My wife has been a patient at the Sleep Center at Saint Mary's and has had some difficulty communicating with the doctor she was assigned to. She asked to switch to another doctor and was told that it would be a conflict of interest (I can't understand why). If you go to the grocery store and one of the checkout lanes is staffed by, for instance a rude person, you go to a different lane. I'm not suggesting that the doctor was rude, but if Saint Mary's was interested in providing care in the best interest of the patient it seems to me they wouldn't make policy not allowing the patient to switch doctors. We will be exploring alternatives to Saint Mary's Sleep Center.

Does it take several months for new patients to get on the schedule? Yes, and those months were difficult. But since becoming a regular patient, everything has gone smoothly and I am optimistic about my quality of life improving. The atmosphere and logistics of the sleep study were well-done, my first follow-up visit was with NP Scott who was encouraging and professional and the second was with Dr Morgan, whose approach to patient care I really enjoyed and respected.

Lynsey Burrel has been a wonderful sleep specialist for my husband. We have learned so much more from her than his original Doctor. Easy to talk to...caring...and very knowledgeable and prepared. We are so pleased with her services.

My husband due to having a bone removed from his skull. Couldn't find a comfortable way to wear the head gear for his cpap. Then he had the bone put back on. We where told at an appointment they could change the compliance time since he was unable to use the cpap. WRONGE! First they knew his condition and never should have gave him the machine at that time. Second so they rescheduled another 40 buck co pay appointment. Lesson learned u have 90 days compliance with Medicare to pay part on a 600 dollar machine. Now we hav to return the machine a do another sleep study.

What a horrible experience. I'm due for a new cpap - even though my old one is still running. They asked me to pay $300 before I could even see the equipment or discuss any options with them - responding with 'we don't do that'. They were super rude. I"m going to recommend that my Dr. stop sending people here and I will certainly go elsewhere moving forward. There are better options.
