I can't say enough good about Sauk Prairie Health Care and their staff. I had two-foot surgeries done by Dr. Ertl within 7 months of each other. He is an amazing surgeon, who spends time explaining the procedures and answering your questions. Dr. Ertl and his staff were great. Alana and Wendy were wonderful and made scheduling and answering any questions so easy. The staff including the nurses in the OR , were all so very kind and caring. I highly recommend Sauk for any Orthopedic care.
I cannot say enough good things about Sauk Prairie Healthcare and their employees. I have had two total knee replacements in 8 months with Dr. Marcu and he is great. Everyone who I had contact with during my surgery's were great. From scheduling my surgery, to check-in, to pre-op prep, to the operation, recovery and my overnight stay. All the employees I had contact with treated me with great care and kindness.
I guess the news 3 call for action interview might happen after all, after my bad experience here. First I'm told insurance covers everything, then I get a large bill and they say insurance doesn't cover anything, then they say it does cover and now I get a bill saying nothing is covered. I'm looking forward to letting others know how poorly I have been treated here.
We go out of our way and drive extra distance for our family when something's wrong because this used to be such a great hospital. Last two visits were substandard to be polite... Poor doctors... Just going through the routine, not really caring about the patient... Not delivering results... Didn't even write a letter out for school like he said he would after son sprained ankle. Really poor examination.. I could make this review an hour long on the last couple visits, but why bother...such a shame.
Highly recommend for knee replacement they do a fantastic job !! I had mine done on July 2nd & I am seven weeks out & doing good !! The staff including Dr Marcu @ nurses @ office assistant’s Wendy Gruber do a fantastic job giving information & checking on you !!
